Thats the trap a lot of people fall into, they think the standard attack is trash like in PoE 1 when in reality its your best single target option until you get Perfect Strike. You're not supposed to spam Rolling Slam all the time. Rolling Slam is used to Prime Stun big mobs so you can destroy them with Boneshatter. Rolling Slam is your combo starter with a goal to Prime Stun or Stun the target. Its not your primary DPS source.By the time you get Hammer of the Gods and add the Aftershock to it so it explodes twice, you can insta-delete any Rare monster with it. Also Ignite scales from the strongest Hit, which means Warrior should invest in Ignite because all monsters get stun protection for 5-6 seconds after the first Stun. You think the DoT with Infernalist Flame wall is strong? Try Hammer of the Gods or Perfect Strike Igniting a boss. That red bar melts in seconds.
