I’ve always enjoyed Fauna’s content, but it’s hard not to notice how much she was held back during her time in Hololive. A big factor in that was the presence of unicorns, whose obsessive need to control her interactions and collaborations made things unnecessarily restrictive. It’s disheartening to think about how much more she could have achieved if she’d been free to make her own choices. Looking at other threads I can’t help but feel disillusioned with Hololive’s culture. While no agency is perfect, other groups seem to foster a healthier, more supportive environment where talents have the freedom to collab and grow without fear of backlash from an overbearing fanbase. In contrast, Hololive’s culture seems to encourage toxic behavior that stifles the talents’ creativity and potential.As much as I’ll miss Fauna, I’m genuinely happy she’s free now. She no longer has to deal with a shitty management or navigate the unreasonable expectations of a controlling minority. Now she can finally pursue the things she wants to do without those shackles as Nimi. I’m really looking forward to seeing her future projects and collabs, and I hope she thrives in this new chapter of her career. Of course, some holofags and unicorns will probably try to stir up trouble but I hope she stays true to herself and keeps moving forward. She deserves it.
