To the guy bitching about their knowledge of the VN they played and anime they consumed, you've got it all wrong.They played those games as a way to 'study' Japanese culture, even if it was filtered through 'otaku' mentality a lot of the time. Instead of just reading books, they chose to play those games and watch those shows to 'learn how to be Japanese'. There's a lot of 'down time' in VN which shows generic daily life, including food, references to other media, and general ways of talking to all sorts of different hierarchy of people. It was never directly about the game or the story itself.
I just get the feeling that what they talk about can reach even more interesting highs. Like, imagine a full stream of FWMC talking about the themes and their own opinion about Saya no Uta. I want to her their unfiltered thoughts about shit like that. I’m not expecting for them to talk about very explicit stuff but I personally would crean myself if they talked more in depth about a VN specifically. It never will happen but I hope they can become looser and looser as time goes on with the topics they talk about.
