The pros to the more complicated method are being able to buy things that might only be on sale for less than a week, avoiding buyee's convenience fee, and having longer holding periods to potentially consolidate more things before you have to pay the final shipping. I think buyee is like 30 days, tenso is 60 days, and tensojapan is 180 days.
