What if she becomes sick on her graduation week?

I have a colleague who was sick so often, I barely saw him at work in the past 4 months. Others were suspicious about him, and were wondering if he was gonna abuse paid sick leaves and just quit a bit after. Turns out the poor guy lung scarring, is prone to panic attacks (which we knew beforehand), and has arrhythmia, which took the doctors forever to figure out. So I feel like if you barely show up due to illness, you at least have to explain what the illness is, otherwise no one is going to believe you. It's especially important for people like her, where she has members paying her monthly for essentially nothing.
