I have seen only one exception to this and it was only done because both the company was going to shit where all the talents went indie with their IP 6 months after this collab happened with almost no power left to stop the talent at the company to collab with the graduated person and the person in question who was being collabed with outside of the company had left the company graduated without drama years prior. It was held on the graduated person's new Vtuber persona channel though away from the company in question, but yes, that is still the only exception I know of.
