I've been fascinated with utility poles in wallpapers ever since I listened to Kodomo's Still Life album. Preferably no busy wiring.

A classic and one of my absolute favorite papes. It feels like something I probably would've seen during a random glance out the window during a family roadtrip.

OC, I have an emotional connection to this one. I still remember the day I took it, what I was doing, why I was wandering around, how I felt, what I was hoping for...
>>8028649Great pic, saved. I always love the complete uniqueness behind most OC photos on this board
These give me an intense urge to listen to some dub techno and to me that is really comfy so I will certainly be saving a great many of these for future use.

>>7975891As someone who designs utility poles for a living thank you for noticing the poles OP
used to really like this one
Power poles remind me of prisons and death.
>>7975891As an apprentice lineman it’s nice to see others enjoy utility poles Ty
And to think if Tesla had been allowed to fully develop and roll out some of his ideas on power generation and transmission to the public before he died we wouldn't have needed power lines, much less all the countless pylons and utility poles to hang them from, for at least the last 100 years...But the corporations couldn't stick a meter on, or bill people for, a bunch of limitless free electricity, and the government couldn't tax it either... and so here we all still are all these decades later.

>>7975891here's one of the pics I took today. Actually my first time using a professional cam (sigma fp from a buddy). If anyone wants the full 6000x4000 resolution I can post that. idk if u can post .dng files here
Comfy thread lads. I'm looking for a specific image that I had saved, but is lost now. The photo was taken in a rural landscape, in a grassy plain. Both sides of the image were framed on either side by those large metal utility poles you see in the countryside, with two rows of them extending towards the horizon line. The image had a (slightly) grainy quality to it, and the sky was overcast. I saw this image years ago in a comfy thread, and I don't know where to find it again. If anyone can help I would be very happy.
>>8057539Cool pic, seeing distribution lines get smoked constantly makes me glad I don’t deal with wood poles much
