Why is webp not in the supported file types list?I'm trying to get a better understanding of image file formats. I usually use tiff for editing images and png for exported usage. I just don't like lossy jpg and never have an issue with the load time for png.But webp supports lossless compression ~35% better than jpg/png and it also supports transparency.Why ever use jpg over webp, png or tiff?pre-thanks.

Can I get this pic in better quality, fitting a 2560x1440 monitor? It's natively grainy, but in its current size and quality I can see the artifacts from it being too stretched out if I simply set it as a wallpaper to fill the screen. I don't remember where I got it from and reverse image search shows nothing.It would be ideal if you could extend the sides without stretching the image, so that proportions would change to 16:9, but with the girl in the middle staying in the original size. If that's too much, I'm fine with just enlarging the image so that it's 2560px wide with its current proportions (that would make it 2560x1919 if I'm not mistaken), with a bump in quality to make it look grainy like the original, but without the artifacts from stretching it.I sure hope someone understands all this shit, I know I would have a hard time.
