premiere pro question, this seems like the best place to aski have an issue where sometimes premiere pro gets in a way where every source clip that i open has desynced audio and i dont know whyeventual if i close the project and wait a day it will go away and I dont know whyalso is there a way to delete audio tracks from the source clip so that all the tracks dont get dragged in when you bring it into the work flow?
>>5456865>desync in audio clipsnever had that problem. today i got 'desync' with video layers and it was caused by running speed adjusts over multiple selected clips causing a ripple overwrite.>also is there a way to delete audio tracks from the source clipright-click the clip > modify > audio channels and set number of audio clips to 0i prefer stripping audio channels when converting / downloading : -x parameter for yt-dlp and -an for ffmpegSometimes i like to change editing software but i really glad to be back with premiere. kdenlive still is a buggy mess when it comes to getting composition of layers to work and Davinci is too demanding for my hardware and half of the effects are pay walled ( was using an older version may need to try an up-to-date one). Im just worried about the lifetime of my SSD being filled for cache by Adobe software. But its by far the most optimized and stable.

Hey [wsg]I was looking through the archives when I stumbled upon some old [wsg] threads and discovered that there used to be a weekly stream similar to [as]'s late-night programming.https://desuarchive.org/wsg/thread/2047443/#q2059123https://desuarchive.org/_/search/boards/wsg.desu.meta/text/Anime%20Block%20%28Episode/These streams ended around 2018, which is a shame. It would be a real treat if we brought this old tradition back, especially since [wsg] seems to be making a comeback. All we'd have to do is decide on what shows we all wanna watch and create a lineup-- one for the Adult Swim block and another for the Anime block; the last anon that ran the streams typically had 12-13 different shows lined up for the Adult Swim block and 5 different shows lined up for the anime block. If nobody has any ideas for shows to watch, just torrent some classic [as] shows and play those instead.Bumps would air in between shows and there would be commercial breaks as well (unsure how the previous anon timed the commercial breaks or what they consisted of).Someone from /here/ would have to stream it somewhere, but I don't reckon that would be too much of an issue. Previous anon began the stream at 10pm EST on Saturdays, and ran for 7-8 hours. What do you guys say? Is this something we should start doing again? Yay? Nay?Ideas? Suggestions? Someone willing to host?We could give it a test run to see how we like it, and if we don't like it we don't have to do it again.
>>5458848>What do you guys say? Is this something we should start doing again?I would absolutely love to watch with you lot>Ideas? Suggestions?Once every other week or once a month. I don't know how long this may last, but I wouldn't want it to potentially die out due to waning interest as a result of burnout from doing it as early as weekly.>Someone willing to host? It's not gonna be me, sorry lad.

>>5466389lol nice. People are quick to label it a problem, maybe he's just casual.>>5466635A stream would be great! As much as I like bumps, these threads have always felt a tad hollow (nothing to do with the quality). Originally, adult swim bumps tied different episodes together and filled the dead air time. Anons are making good bumps here that end up simply sitting around on their own. They're cool but lacking a purpose.Someone could stream shows.Another idea is to do some AI 24/7 generation like the seinfeld but add bumps in between skits. This could be streamed on twitch (or another service) and not taken down for copyright violations.

Can someone please explain how to compress and convert to webm's without compromising quality?
>>55261821.Make sure to use good source material (uncompressed if possible (bitrate) and good resolution) 2.Use WebM for Lazys in Constant Mode and use High Quality enter 5.8 Mib Size limitor Use WebM export plugin for Premiere, Constant Bitrate, check 2-pass encoding and play with the slider until the estimated file size shows < 6MborLearn ffmpeg and use trial and error until you are satisfied with the result:https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Encode/VP9
>>5526182>>5526740When encoding for a specific file size limit, you must always make a compromise. So what we need to do is create a balance between bitrate and resolution. You want to maximize bitrate while having a high resolution. This is quality. Both those things massively contribute to the file size budget. You can spend a lot of time finding the sweet spot between those or take a practical approach favoring one over the other.Beginning with resolution and assuming 720p as a reasonable limit for /wsg/ and a common resolution for source material we can start by adjusting the bitrate first. The 'content' of the source defines how high the bitrate must be for the output to look good. The more 'movement' of pixels there is the more minimum bitrate we need. Fast cuts, transitions and fluid motion all look like shit with low bitrates while text on a simple background is cheap and easy.If the result still looks bad we can try to lower the resolution in favor of a higher bitrate. The other approach is to prioritize bitrate first. you could use Variable Bitrate CRF mode and lower the resolution in exchange. It takes an trial and error approach to get to a good looking result within the file size limit and needs to be adjusted for every source file. There a template scripts you can use for both these ways.factors for quality: Quality (resolution/bitrate) of source material, codec (vp9 for /wsg/), 'movement of pixels', color profile factors for file size: Resolution Bitrate Duration framerate

>>5474334>>5486572/a/non here, for our December daily watchalong streams we use cytube (cytu(be). It's not a "livestream" per se since it just plays videos from a programmable playlist of URLs, but I think that would fit your use case better since you can program a "schedule" in advance and let it play out. The stream also won't get nuked for copyright since it's a frontend to (you just need somewhere to host the strikeable stuff). HOLY FUCK BUMP DONT DIE ON ME LITTLE THREAD COME ON YOU CAN DO IT
>>5536235Good point, this thread is almost 4 months old.
>>5435634Damn mate. How'd you make that page. I'm so impressed.
>>5437827First you learn the rules so that you know when you can break them. You did good, Anon.
>>5473195>>5471455So how would we do this? A once a month thing sounds awesome if we did something like a cytube stream. People could make bumps for it or other memes to submit in between whatever show or movie we're watching at the time.
>>5536413I'm OP. I set up a Cytube channel a little bit ago. .be/r/wsgbumps (Nothing too crazy yet)I tested it out by uploading some anime episodes to litterbox (catbox tempupload) and it worked perfectly. Only downside is that Episodes will have to be smaller than 1GB. If anyone knows of some better tempupload sites, let me know. Anons could probably upload shit to YT and set the video to unlisted, too.Anyway, all we need to do now is line up what we want to watch (we can decide when to air afterward). Here's what an anon earlier in the thread said (>>5458848): >All we'd have to do is decide on what shows we all wanna watch and create a lineup-- one for the Adult Swim block and another for the Anime block; the last anon that ran the streams typically had 12-13 different shows lined up for the Adult Swim block and 5 different shows lined up for the anime block.>People could make bumps for it or other memes to submit in between whatever show or movie we're watching at the time.Definitely. I know we already have a few bumps that are similar to [as]'s opening bump, but it would be cool if we had a few original bumps of our own we could show at the beginning of the stream.
up
Does anyone have the bump that starts of with something like "How's your day, night, or whatever? I hope you're doing wellAnd if you arent? Then I wish you the best"? I used to have it on a hard drive to get me through some rough days, but it died. It'd be a couple years old at this point I think
