Indians must have insane immune systems or just die a lot.They don't really have access to refrigeration in a lot of places, so it's common to see live chickens butchered right on the street, surrounded by restaurants which cook them. At least you know it's fresh. The downside is the foul smell from the rotting bits and fluids on the ground.We mostly stuck to restaurants and were fine. The food was cheap as fuck and tasted great too. To be fair at that point we were already on the road for 5 months and we had some anti-choleric/diarrhea meds before we set out. If you went to India for a week and went into one of the places we ate at, you might shit yourself to death.Here's a walk through an ordinary street in Delhi.
