Fun fact, they reduced all the speed limits here and the road toll went up.
Turns out it's just bad/foreign drivers causing accidents and suicides that result in higher road tolls.
Maybe make it so that anyone fresh off the boat can't get a fuckin drivers licence the same day.

Are you telling me that the huge directional arrows painted at the intersections of popular tourist locations are NOT for the locals to remember which side of the road to drive on?!
Starting to get really fucking sick of fresh chinkoes coming up to roundabouts or right of ways where they stop and wait for traffic to lull before they make a move. It's like a 9/10 hit rate with the driver in a <5year old SUV.
Driver literally crossing the centreline to avoid parked cars? Guaranteed.
They're worse than texters. Cuts you off but freezes mid-lane anyway? Chink.
Takes five fucking attempts to straighten up their parking but gets worse every time? Chinks.
Comes up to a merge at anytime lane and stops? Chink.
Fucks up a whole roundabout by being legally blind until they come to a stop regardless of right of way? Chink.
Hesitates on a fucking green because they don't know what a controlled fucking intersection is? Chink.

Why do we give these faggots a license day 0 when they come from a country where you need to literally win a car lottery to be able to get a license because they have so many fucking people. God damnit. I hate being racist but I would flag each one of these fucks to a defensive driving course before showing them a single meter of public road.

Well I own multiple LS1 and LS2 cars, have been driving longer than you have probably been alive. And Teslas are supers fun.

They are an incredible track car as well.

The low CG due to battery makes it the most fun car ive ever had. I have the cornering of the old 1994 miata i drove, with corvette power, and ford explorer comfort.

It's absolutely unreal.

FACT
Gas car EV haters are the equivalent of Apple users who use inferior products that run less programs at slower speed but then tell you
>you just wouldnt understand it's about a user experience

I guess your correct I wouldnt understand having something that costs more with less functional capability that was purchased for functional capability.

>>5503732
I am 100% not baiting. Tesla is one of the coolest companies of the last 100 years.

All other automakers have been gouging average americans by raising prices and reporting record profits while hardly improving their cars.

Meanwhile Tesla lowered prices and gave the average american access to a car with unmatched safety and speed capabilities.

The only thing I am sad a bit about is that Honda couldnt have teamed up with Tesla because they were a respectable brand for a long time.

Again not betting. TESLA IS RAD.

Oh, im white btw but that shouldnt matter but you did call me asian, which I am not.

Also, Tesla is about the whitest white man company ever. Literal white ceo who tells other CEOs to F off and that everyone else is boring and lame and people need to dream bigger and think about projects that capture the soul and imagination. Like going to Mars.

Dude cut sateelite service during ukraine war because he was like "nah, im not building shit so people can just kill each other, weve had enough war, its time to conquer space"
>>
>>5503596
sigh...did you not go to first grade?

Two wrongs dont make a right.

The entire anglo philosophy and law system has concepts of partial fault, our language is even filled with idioms that illustrate this concept.
>It takes two to tango

Speeding is illegal for precisely this reason.

Also take it to the absurd...
If the car was going triple the speed limit around a corner then there is no way a car could ever see it even if they looked properly.

This is why speed limits exist, they are functions of the sorrounding enviornment and the interactions that are foreseeable to occur.

Speeding on roads with intersections, and speeding in general is very gay. Dont do it. Or make damn sure you are the only one who get hurt if you crash.
>>

I'd argue that being able to properly judge the speed an oncoming vehicle is going should be a requirement for driving. Yes, speeding can be dangerous, but so is pulling out in front of a car that is obviously going to collide with your vehicle if major adjustments aren't made. It's better to be defensive than pull out assuming a vehicle is going x speed. It just isn't realistic.

I have a korean friend that came to canada a few years ago.
She had some form of license in korea but never drove because there isnt much need to there.
Living here she decided she wanted to start driving so she went down to the korean embassy and then the DMV and walked away with a full license.
She then struggled to drive in the most basic sense, couldnt turn properly and didnt understand the rules of the road.
Luckily she scared herself and hasnt tried it again.
But holy shit why do our countries allow foreigners to just transfer their licenses with zero testing of ability?
I'm not even mad at the foreigners who dont know how to drive, but the fucked up system that doesnt require them to actually show aptitude. It's retarded.
Imagine a 25 year old zoomer that only completed the written part of the driving test 9 years ago and going to europe or asia and getting a full license there. I wonder if thats possible or if its just a retarded western thing.

Let me start by agreeing with you about how dodge is gay, 100% agree.
But Tesla is gay too in a completely different way.
They make really good motors and have kicked the auto industry into taking EVs seriously which is good.
But they take themselves way too seriously and cant see/refuse to deal with their own design flaws.
Funny how you talk shit about apple when Tesla is absolutely the apple of the car industry.
The electronic only door latch is like apple removing the 3.5mm headphone jack but way worse.
They are prone to failing with tons of reports online from owners being locked out (or in) their car.
And what happens when you get into a crash and the car loses power? Hope that low CG battery below you doesnt start to burn.

The cybertruck is more of the same bullshit slop hyped up and consumed by their brainwashed followers.
Electronic latches, exoskeleton was ditched, poorly designed/aimed headlights, retard idea of untreated stainless steel body that stains in a month, awful blind spots for driver, poor build quality, I could go on.
But it go fast zoom zoom!!
The cybertruck should have stayed a concept car, or made more drastic design changes to become a better vehicle.
But they rolled that concept on stage in 2019 and let people place preordered so they are locked into delivering something mass producible that looks like what they revealed.
I honestly cant wait to see how the cybertrucks look in a year or two. Sure you could wrap them, clay bar them everyday, or leave them in your garage and never drive them. But the average tesla driver who never washes their car will let their cybertruck rot.
I'd sooner swap in a tesla motor into a 90s shitbox than buy a car designed and built by tesla themselves.

You have to stop huffing the koolaid tesla is selling you. They are a billion dollar company and you are simping this hard for them.
Also your reddit spacing is insane.

except it is not electronic only, at least not on mine.

There is an interior manual handle, called "emergency release handle"
Here is a video of it...

Also, the electronic locks offer a huge advantage in cold climates. The electronic latch can break inches of ice, so as long as you have a phone you can open your doors even if the handles and locks are frozen shut.

>>5504976
>refuse to deal with their own design flaws.
I don't think this is true based on how much the Model Y has improved.

Yes that build quality on early y's and 3's were not great. However, the newer ones are really good. It seems that after building a million of these cars they got really good.

Interestingly the Model 3 and Y have better build quality than the more expensive S and X, simply because they have had more practice at building the 3 and Y.

Tesla has been building cars for a little more than a decade. To see how good their build quality is quite amazing. In fact, no other company has improved at this rate. All the other automakers have taken litterally a half century to improve basics.

Again, tesla may be a billion dollar corporation but so are all the other car companies and Tesla is the only company driving down prices to make cars more affordable for middle class people.

Meanwhile all the other automakers are building way bigger cars with unneccessary features and figuring out ways to offer 9 year payment plans to saddle people with debt.

Well obviously speeding is illegal, but you can never assume that someone won't be speeding when you're backing out onto a main road, no matter what time of day it is or how empty the streets seem to be. That's why in driving schools the first thing they tell you to do before pulling onto a road is to look both ways, just like how pedestrians should. Sometimes I have the window down so that I can hear if a car is coming and I can't see them for whatever reason. Also you are very gay.

Yes, retard. It takes only a few miliseconds for the engine to get rekt at overrev. You can't press the clutch quickly enough to avoid some form of damage.

The only difference is that you might get lucky enough that the damage is easy to replace and/or you did not fuck the block. You are still looking at the expense of rebuilding the entire engine or even swapping in a replacement engine if you fucked up badly enough.

Floating the valves from overrev may require a head rebuild (literally just replace a few valves), maybe replace a piston or two at worst

Depends on the gear/ratio being moneyshifted from. I.e, 0.88 to 1.00 no real biggie, likely bend a couple valves if an interference engine.
1.88 to 3.1 would require an old priest and a young priest IMO.
>>5512277
Depends on the leverage, too. If your hitch is higher than theirs, you have added mechanical grip as you're trying to lift their car up and loading your chassis with this weight. Conversely, the other car is losing mechanical grip because they are being 'lifted' up.

How would two extra wheels at the front be beneficial? Improved braking, presumably - twice as much rubber to maintain grip while the load is shifted forwards.
Feels like it'd mess with the turning, unless the second set doesn't turn as much as the forwardmost ones? Hard to tell in the clip.

guys only block (for more than a few seconds) usually because the person behind them is tailgating.
>>
>>5502470
Usually. Depends on how bad the shift is, the tires, clutch, etc.
RWD cars usually are slightly less likely to damage since they are more likely to break the rear tires loose.
I once money shifted 4rth-3rd on the track. Thankfully, my clutch was pretty much gone at that point (had to do a cooldown lap for it every 5 or so laps) and i reacted quickly. Engine only hit 7600 according to logs. Could've been a lot worse.

>>You're the Retard.
If you break a valve from piston contact (which is likely to happen at severe overrev), then it usually just bounces around the cylinder and completely fucks everything up. Sometimes you can bore it out ( an excuse for some more displacement :) ), sometimes not and the entire block is trashed.
