Do you guys have any that are special to you? Personally I'm very attached to the Psalms and try to pray a few each day. I also really like Jonah. I had heard the story a million times growing up but actually going and reading it was amazing, there is a lot going on in that small book.

Neither did Jesus's sacrifice, wrongdoings still exist and people still die. The eschatology remains the same except God had to kill his son at some point for some reason. It's interesting to see people were complaining about that already by the time the Second Epistle of Peter was written. The last days 2 Peter 3:3-4 talks about were always just around the corner.

Take Luke 24:46 for example. Where in the Old Testament is that prophecy written? It doesn't exist. It's a bunch of lines from disconnected Old Testament verses poorly stitched together. Chapter 1 of Hebrews is another example. I'm trying to build a case that black people were not spoken about in the Bible and therefore are not God's children.
So far I've gone through as much of the Bible as I can and come to the following conclusions:
Jesus and all of his disciples were white.
All persons mentioned in the old testament can be assumed white with the exception of the Cushite people and Balthazar one of the 3 wise men (look at any nativity set one will be black).

Matthew 2:1 states the wise men came from the East but Africa would be west of Bethlehem so Balthazar was very likely not black.

The next and final case for blacks in the Bible comes from the Cushite people. References to the Cushite's were translated as Ethiopian in several translations including the KJV.
In Numbers 12 Moses marries a Cushite woman and after 2 people make fun of Moses for this, God strikes them down with leprosy.
The only description I can find of the Cushite/Ethiopian people is in Jeremiah 13:23 which says: "Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil."
