Gondola threads look slower these days. I guess I'm not around as much either, not that I ever contributed much. I have a few I made that probably nobody saved though.
You know I haven't seen a good Factorio gondola. I wonder if I can figure out a looping gif video in FFMPEG.
Well, like everybody, I eventually go confused by FFMPEG. I figured out the options to get the GIF to loop nicely but I couldn't make any quality arguments work with a webm output format, they were always ignored for some reason. Also I tried to use FFMPEG commands to trim to length of the song and cut off the first 34 seconds but every time I tried to use them I ended up with an arbitrarily short video a few seconds long. Plus video quality is atrocious. Whatever, have this half finished gondola.Actually no, I was using AV1 encoder and 4chan only supports VP9 but when I encode with VP9 is about twice as large and thus over the file size limit, you get nothing, good day sir.
