Suno is done for. They have started moderating gens for words like "bleed". Going over to Udio as of today, fuck suno.
Please repost the songs that are best (in your opinion)>>5755317>censoring wordsany official list?
>>5755339nta but no official list since the filter changes with each model. Suno's V4 model has the usual nono words like faggot and nigger censored but they've started to sprinkle in more mundande words bit by bit. I may start compiling a spreadshit if it becomes to agregious, but so far the error messages are few and far between.
>>5755317>>5755339>>5755344Are there any local installs of song-making AIs that are any good, or is it basically a Suno/Udio-only world and we have to live by their rules?
>>5755348There are some open source projects but they are pretty demanding. Check out this github for some examples:https://github.com/liusongxiang/Large-Audio-Models

firefox/chrome causes this. something to do with those not logging in correctly. works fine in edge.
>>5756965ah never mind, it's a reupload from youtube. still impressive.
>>5757359I usually avoid reposting the songs I made, but beside that creepy AI lullaby about an AI becoming sentient and vengeful, this is the second time I noticed one of the songs I made get reposted here.
>>5755317aren't these easy enough to get around with phonetic spellings and other tricks? i remember awhile back someone was using japanese characters that made the "nig" and "er" sounds to do it.

>>5757873What are the asterisks for?The ones where the title are due to the video not processing properly, I could regen to get rid so the title is there. The ones in the lyrics (**Verse**) etc are what happens when chatGPT is doing the lyrics, I normally take them out & replace with brackets but having 2 asterixis before & after words means it get's ignored as a lyric so is sung or spoken, the same applies for the square brackets but not rounded brackets - which are used for effect
who the fuck actually, unironically listens to AI generated music?I thought it was just for the funny memes
>>5757885Ah okay, so **Verse** and **[Verse]** and [Verse] are (at least mostly) treated the same.

>>5759932operatic latin choir, angelic somber dysphoria, string classical, epic cinematic choral, somber choir, neoclassical ambient, ethereal darkwave, sacred doom orchestral, experimental.I did not upload anything because udio is not like suno. I'd try to do suno too if I wasn't empty on creds there as well.Repostan Guillotine because it deserves more than one thread.
>>5759937>experimentalWhat does it do?
>>5760052That makes the song opt in for aleatory or free-forming or indeterminate song structures. At the very least, most of the cases I've tried my hand at it it seems to work well with what I want as a result.
>>5760055If I use the instrumental option the choirs still work?
>>5760064Not the one you quoted, but...I guess yes, this one is an example for an instrumental, but I went a bit overboard with the styles, but no "experimental" here>Dark Folk, Dungeon Synth, Ambient, Neo-Medieval Folk, Neoclassical Darkwave, atmospheric, medieval, ominous, fantasy, ethereal, male vocalist, sombre, melancholic, dark, pagan, forest, repetitive, mythology>Seed: 33078>Prompt Strength: 70%>Lyrics Strength: 50% (but there are none anyway)>Clarity: 25% (Default)>Udio-130

>>5760108How can I make the music more energetic without sounding like generic two steps from hell?https://www.udio.com/songs/m85LduCTVyzB5HJWVvgHyWCheck this one I found.
>>5760115I don't have a strict plan either how to create something like that. I guess mostly it's just a matter of luck and sometimes even after countless reiterations, tweeking the style tags and all the other options you still end up with nothing. Also I always randomize the seed between extensions so it doesn't become samey.
>>5760115>>5760125A trick I use (Sorry for the belated reply) is to describe in detail in the prompt section what the section is about followed by the tags, main focused tag should be first in the list after the detailed scenario. Works almost every time.

>>5760435Nice. Thanks.
Protip if you keep getting awful vocals in Udio, drop the clarity to 0, prompt str to about 15 and same with lyric strength. I resisted putting them much under the defaults cause I thought it would just make a jumbled mess of nonsense but my vocalists actually sound like humans now and the instrumental parts aren't any less what I was going for. Also a decent way to get a different vocalist is putting in an instrumental extension and lowering the context so it's not reading the previous vocals

>some of the most banging, culture filled, humorous songs are being made on /trash/ right now and they all have naked anime chicks in them to keep them from being posted on /wsg/ kek
>>5755227Would be funnier if it was 3min shorter, with a little more lyrical effort (instead of constant "fuck shit bitch" etc). Profanity is fine, but sprinkle a little, dont use it as filler to maintain meter. Its not even done particularly well since the syllabic meter is inconsistent throughout
Felt like I got the vocals pretty well here.
>>5763487Sounds nice, is there a trick to excluding vocals completely?
>>5763522What do you mean? Making just instrumental songs? Removing vocals from an existing song? Or having segments without vocals in a song? If it's the latter, then I've found you can get solo's by adding the following format:>[Electric Guitar solo]>[Pause for X seconds]This usually gets you a sizeable portion with no vocals. Obviously it doesn't understand seconds, but it does understand a "high" number means longer. The actual lyrics used to make this song is filled with added instructions to get it like this, though removed them for aesthetics sake on the video.
>>5763530Like completely removing them for an instrumental only track. I had tried a few different things but most songs still have some kind of singing.
>>5763531>Like completely removing them for an instrumental only track.Hmm, that's more difficult. If you want to keep instrumental from songs, I think your best bet is to always start with making JUST instrumentals then trying to remix the instrumental with lyrics after. As getting stems from songs usually never comes out clean.. Though I did make an attempt to get "clean" instrumentals by generating stems then remastering the instrumental of it. It gave good results but it became slightly altered. But I guess if I did a couple more gens I could have gotten lucky and gotten a much similar one..Link to the instrumental attempt.>https://suno.com/song/3c396120-1a5c-4b15-b7ac-fdbb4382673bNote that this was from one of the "earlier" shorter version of it. So it's not the same length, but It did seem to stay somewhat close to the original.

>>5763539>>5763540Go away /aicg/ locust.
>>5763538Sorry I was probably unclear, I meant just creating an instrumental track that has no vocals in it at all.Trying to make some electronic/house stuff but it likes to put vocals in most of them even with keywords like [Instrumental] or No vocals, etc.
>>5763542Suno has a "Instrumental" toggle which has just produced instrumentals only the few times I've used it.. Alternatively you use instrumental and just set up lyrics to Just be [Instrumental] tags and use "Exclude Styles" to add many variants of vocals to it and see if that works. But I have no experience with suno for pure instrumental song gens. So this is just my educated guess for how to make it.>[Intro]>[Flute Instrumental]>[Pause 30 seconds]>>[Instrumental][Build-up]>[Pause 30 seconds]>>[Drop]>[Pause for 20 seconds]>>[Instrumental][Outro]Something like this would be my guess to use "Lyrics" to create instrumentals.. And obviously with vocals, vocalists, singer, voice, etc.. to "Exclude styles" tags, also don't add any thing related to vocals in the actual genre tags. I'm just spitballing here, so this may not work.
>>5763544Thanks, putting "Exclude Vocals" and "No Vocals" in double quotes seems to have helped quite a bit

So how does one prompt well on Udio? v1.0 was pretty decent with beats but had very AI sounding vocals. Then v1.5 came and it's vocals are amazing, but it came with a hit on the rhythm and instrumental part. Are there any good tips on how to make instrumentals and beats good on Udio v1.5? All my attempts just become trash compared to Suno V4.The song posted here is one of my first real attempt at Udio v1.5 but I had to use Suno 3.5 to get a good base then remix it in Udio for better vocals. I think the results were good, but the song is still rather tame and monotone.
>>5763764I am trying to see if the technique of asking chatGPT to reverse tag a music style I want to replicate and then use the tags. But I have no idea how to properly tag too I was looking for a guide. I was wondering if artist styles work as well like in AI with pictures.
