Nothing too sexual or gorey. No nudity. Nothing for children. Nothing super old. I want movies for women and movies for men. Or both at the same time. Foreign movies are fine. If they have a dub or if they are Japanese or Korean it would be better. Anime movies are also on the table.
Wolf Children is a great movie about being a parent.
>>1455868Metropolis comes to mind.
>>1455885>>1455886Awesome

Whiplash is a fantastic movie about a drummer and an abusive band conductor that anyone should be able to appreciate, but not for kids cause there's a fair amount of really harsh swearing in italso seconding Wolf Children
Anime: anything by ghibli, satoshi kon, makoto shinkaiRegular movies for men: basically all action flicks with denzel washington or jason stantham, there is a little bit of fighting there but none of them are to sexual or gorey. Movies for everyone: parasite, inception, interstellar, the intern (with deniro)Generally if a movie received some major award there is a huge chance it will be at least decent and its almost guaranteed no one will look at you funny.
O Brother, Where Art ThouSabrina (the 1980s one with Harrison Ford)Open RangeThe Gray ManA Time To KillThat gives you a comedy, a romcom, a western, an action movie, and a drama.

Does Tim Burton's Batman count as too old?
>>1456329No.
>>1456129Man I hated that movie.

>>1455868Not a movie but it matches your criteria

>>1455868>Nothing super oldYou're unnecessarily limiting yourself. And what do you consider "super old"? The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly has a ton of male appeal, but stylistically doesn't feel "super old" like certain movies from the decades prior
i liked hardcore henry but you said no gore so idkalso guns akimbo with danny radcliffe
