If I can sing Big Star songs what other bands would fit in that vocal range? I'm trying to find new songs to cover that are in my range. Some Paul Mccartney songs and some Pinegrove songs also fit the range I'm looking for

never got into them but their top few spotify songs sound great. I'm listening to Alien Lanes now. Any specific favorites from them?

Smothered in Hugs

Echos Myron

Wondering Boy Poet

Goldstar for Robot Boy

Also I am glad you are a Big Star fan because they’re pretty nice and I’m impressed you can hit those high notes. Maybe try doing some Chris Bell solo songs for your set?

I'll check those out. Game of Pricks is their most popular on Spotify and probably the front runner for my set, reminds me of The Beatles a little.

every now and then lmao I'm still learning but it's a lot of fun. Never got into his solo stuff but again I'll look into it. Any other bands you'd think would fit? There aren't many songs I feel I sound good on, Big Star being the exception

Been listening to Pleased to Meet Me all day because of your rec and I love it. I'll probably cover The Ledge at the very least. Maybe I'll do 2:45AM by Elliot as well, I'm not sure
Appreciate it loads anon
