Any tech wizs here? I have a AOC C24G1 monitor, I accidentally zapped it via static electricity and the colors on screen became inverted and the entire display has a tint of white. I took the monitor apart and everything looks fine to the naked eye (no capacitors are damaged or fuses blown). But I can’t figure out how to fix it or diagnose it properly. I called 10 local repair stores and all of them said they don’t fix monitors.
>>
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
>>
try degaussing it

it's your gpu doofus
>>
just invert the colors before they go to the monitor

Electrostatic discharge damage can be invisible to the naked eye.

I plugged in my other monitor and it was fine. Barnacle head.

While that does fix the inversion issue but I’m still left with a heavy white tint on the screen.

I’m gonna use my multimeter to see if there are any blown fuses that I can’t see

Ahh yes...fuses...

Might I suggest you mess around with the output settings on your computer.
Also first try factory reseting the monitor, maybe something in the memory got fucked up.

I'd really like to see a picture of your monitor glitching.

try a different input port

do you not use a multimeter to check fuses? Am I supposed to use a voltmeter or something?

I tried switching up the ports to no avail.

I tried adjusting my display setting on my computer but the only thing that worked was inverting the colors. Heres a pic of the monitor

Looks interesting, but it's safe to assume one of the chips now has unfixable damage.
Guess you could try to buy a broken screen on ebay or whatever and swap out the green board.

Yeah, that's what it's looking like. It's a damn shame. I appreciate the input.
