is there a way to easy make tracing of images kind of like with the basic tools of MS paint?
I just want to have a drawing at the background, do something like put a tracing paper over it and draw over with my hand/mouse to make it look like "drawn with ms paint".
If not possible on win 10 MS paint, which free tool (not pirated stuff, please) could do something like that, and how is that called so I can find some youtube tutorial?
I may be interested in getting one of those "drawing tablets" things later, and I'm wondering...

Download GIMP2 https://www.gimp.org/downloads/
It's free.
It's layer based, unlike MS paint, which means you can put the image on one layer, make a new layer on top of it, and draw on that new layer. Then you can delete the bottom layer, and you end up with your 'traced' image.
Layer based image editors let you do a lot, it's worth getting used to how they work.

I'm downloading it
so... that'd be called "layering"?
I'm not sure how to search for a tutorial of that on GIMP2.
