Every day I have issues with my internet "half" cutting out. It happens everyday slightly after 6 PM and 12 PM.
I have friends on the same ISP that don't have this issue. It happens to every device in my home whether it is on wifi or ethernet.
What happens is that my internet seems to stop sending things properly for 5 to 10 minutes.
If I'm in discord, it displays my ping as "5000 ms" however I can still hear everyone else. No one can hear me however, except maybe one word every minute at most.
If I'm in an online game, I usually disconnect automatically.
I believe that something is happening that is making my internet not send out information, but continues to receive it.
I can send text chats on discord but they're slow to deliver, and I whatever other people post almost instantly. Web pages only partly load.
Does anyone know what might be causing this? It's been driving my crazy for months and can't find anything that matches online.

Just updated my router since I've heard having old versions can cause packet loss. Hopefully that resolves it tonight.

your isp can't actually support all the users it has during high volume times like 6pm. you probably have a cheaper plan that is not prioritized.

The problem is that this happens at 12 o'clock at night. I however did not have this issue last night after updating the firmware on my router
