Looking for a song called "Nuke Iran" by Vince Vance & the Valiants. They're most famous for their song "Bomb Iran," which you can hear on youtube.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8hEtI9AI0U "Bomb Iran" is a parody of the Beach Boys song Barbara Ann, "Nuke Iran" is apparently a parody of Duke of Earl by Gene Chandler. However, despite this wikipedia page saying it exists, I can't find it anywhere.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bomb_IranInterestingly enough, while the wikipedia page for "Bomb Iran" says they made a follow up named Nuke Iran, the page for the band itself does not mention any such single.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vince_Vance_%26_the_ValiantsSo it could be by another band, or it could not exist, or it could just be exceptionally rare
Might have been a mistakeFor what it's worth, the source listed in the wikipedia page is is this short note from vol. 46 of Stereo Review from 1981https://www.worldradiohistory.com/Archive-All-Audio/Archive-HiFI-Stereo/80s/HiFI-Stereo-Review-1981-02.pdf (p. 79)>"...Vince Vance and the Valiants' new single is Nuke Iran, sung to the tune of Gene Chandler's r-&-b classic Duke of Earl. Ironically enough, the Valiants' first single, Bomb Iran, one of 1980's few major regional hits, was set to the tune of the Beach Boys' venerable oldie Barbara Ann—which, it turns out, was written by Fred Fassert, a gentleman of Iranian descent...Can't find anything else aside from that
