Pic related. I mean edits of anime girls in real life locations, with accurate lighting. I have Photoshop access but am not very experienced. I assume you take a cropped picture of an anime girl and drop her onto a background, but don't know what comes after. If there's a specific tutorial or set of methods anyone could share I would be grateful. There are some more examples in these threads:>>>/w/2247916>>>/c/4361531
>>1496864it's called compositing, i think usually tutorials are aimed for real life models but it should also apply to basically any object being meshed with a background. look up tutorials of these, even if it's not anime it should still work, you just have to adapt it to your use case
>>1496906as a side note, what i usually do is to match the highlights, midtones, and shadows of the subject to the background (this makes it so that they will not look too much brighter/darker than the background) using curves, adjust some colors and hues here and there (you just have to fuck with this on your own or search up many tutorials with different styles), and finally apply a color lookup to both the subject and the background to finish it up
>>1496908oh yeah and for whatever reason we love adding noise to it
>>1496864I wonder if you could use a background image as an environment in blender - you would have to crank the exposure of it since it doesn't have the brightness of a hdri but it should still work right?
>>1496906>>1496908>>1496915Thank you very much, anon! I will look into it.>>1496935My Blender experience is nonexistent, but I can give this a try sometime, too. Thank you, too!
