Having a hard time recently trying to source stuff and even since google tried to push for lens and breaking everything. I tried everything from yandex to tineye and giving in to that shit of current google lens, saucenao works only with specific twitter images and iqdb is only for boorus.Even some other advice in reverse image search is greatly appreciated.
>>1500149here's a thing that gets the unix timestamp from a twitter image filename.https://onecompiler.com/python/42yhxmp6hjust replace the part in quotations with the image filename and click run and it will output a unix timestamp. then you can go to https://www.unixtimestamp.com/ to find out when that image was uploaded to twitter. for example, your attached image was uploaded to twitter on july 4th 2015.this can be useful because twitter doesn't let you infinitely scroll back in time on an artist's posts. knowing the timeframe so that you can set it as a search parameter is sometimes the only way to see old posts.
>>1500149another reverse image search option is https://ascii2d.net/it occasionally works for twitter images (mainly old ones).https://imgops.com/ is also pretty good. it has shortcuts to all other reverse image services, so you can upload your picture there and then just click the buttons to check saucenao, yandex, tineye, etc. it has other miscellaneous image operation features too.
>>1500217the compiler is a good one since for the artist I uploaded it scrolled until 2021 and I saw some which went only until 2022. thanks a bunch anon>>1500219ascii has been a godsend and I confess I never used imgops so hoping it'll be useful for other stuff. thank you so much!
