Paranoia Agent (anything Satoshi Kon really), Mob Psycho, Mononoke, and Baccano. Ajin and Dorohedoro are great but the anime adaption sucks

Is the OVA a bigger improvement over the anime? I forgot to list that as anime I've seen. Wasn't really a fan. I liked the concept and everything, but the writing and pacing wasn't really there for me.

Yeah the OVA follows the manga a lot closer than the early Hellsing release. The issues you pointed out are also issues most people have with the manga. f

I think the original Hellsing just had better vibes than the OVA. Example the music and tone was more serious in the original Hellsing release.
