Most of these aren't working, and the Cobalt one greys out some parts of the videos.

does the terminal make you scared? Don't be, tame it, then you'll be able to download and convert into sound files all playlists with a single enter
example
>yt-dlp -x --extract-audio [youtube playlist link]
That's literally it, you just paste it into the command line and boom.
Long videos in high quality works too, yt-dlp by default downloads the highest resolution it can. It's a pain in the ass if you actually want a lower resolution.
Also just use your search engine to find a guide, it's really not that hard.

Jdownloader does all that, without needing to learn shit

With JD2 you just hit a fucking pulldown

1) go to https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp
2) CTRL+F and type windows
3) see the
yt-dlp.exe Windows (Win8+) standalone x64 binary (recommended for Windows)

Link.
4) Press it
5)Move the yt-dlp.exe into C:\Windows\
6) install Git bash for windows
https://gitforwindows.org/

You are finished.

How to use it.
Right click on any folder you want your target video to be saved in.
Select OPEN GIT BASH here

You get a black le hacker window
Type in yt and press the tab key it auto completes to yt-dlp.exe
Now copy past the video URL and press enter.
Paste using Right click and select the option paste.

Press enter
Watch the magic work itself.

You don't need git. Why are you telling him to install git?

>git?
It is not git it is git for windows that gives other options also.

>Why are you telling him to install git?
Because installing this program will give you a right click menu to spawn a terminal (who can use yt-dlp.exe in C:\Windows) in any folder.

This is why.
You can not debate this since this was the solution to fast improve windows since Win7 Daily reminder that even Win 10 can not do this and MS is promoting Win 11 with this """"innovation"""" of right click to get command prompt in folder.

>Why are you telling him to install
Why are you opposed to installing programs? It improves windows! On linux this is build in. This is the fastest way to get it on windows.

>Why
Because you expect a beginner to understand how to navigate to the target folder in the command prompt?

>Why
because a beginner will not understand how to use command line programs or that they are installed and get confused if you start babbling about navigating the terminal or starting the terminal? Also this right click method is faster.

Picture related.

And here you are installing a bunch of nonsense, because you don't want to install Jdownloader 2

Like explained to retards like you Jdownloader 2 is literally inferior to yt-dlp.

And getting OP to start using yt-dlp is the important part.

>And here you are installing a bunch of nonsense
You think yt-dlp is nonsense?
Or the git for windows that gives you a fast access to the command line is nonsense?

You know you can just type "cmd" in the address bar and press enter, right?

You can use yt-dlp very easily on Android even.

1. Download F-Droid from https://f-droid.org/en/ and install.

2. In the F-Droid app search for and install Termux, make sure you select the one that says 'Terminal emulator with packages".

3. Open Termux and enter the following commands:
>pkg install python
>pip install yt-dlp
>termux-setup-storage
>yt-dlp "https://youtube.com/watch?v=1NzTXwzi3dQ"
