I've enjoyed Made in Abyss for a long time and I just read through Dungeon Meshi recently, does anyone know more manga in this niche? NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind sort of counts too a bit.
Basically, series that have a focus on a fictional ecosystem that the author puts a lot of focus on/spends time explaining.
