Hello /wsr/ - long story short I was gifted a new "top end" computer. It's an Alienware Aurora R16. Not my first choice but don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Anyway - fast forward to this morning and I wake up to a critical error saying my CPU isn't detecting my fan. After a couple reboots I am still getting the error but all of my temps seem fine as well as fan speeds. What can/should I do here? I already contacted Dell but they want me to send my PC, which I rely on for work in for anywhere from 5-10 days. Have any of you ever dealt with something like this? Should I pop it open and see if the cable is loose or something?
Can you post a picture of the critical error? If it's coming from some 3rd party bloatware app, ignore the shit. If it's in bios or Windows itself I guess still post the pic.

If the fan is actually working than can't youy just bypass something in settings or BIOS?
