My current PC has been failing a lot lately (sudden restarts/overheat) and isn't compatible with many of the new games, I think I started building it like 10 years ago or so (started with components of an older pc and switched stuff around, like the first hard drive it had had to be switched when it suddenly died). These are my current specs, I want some guidelines on what could be worth getting while not being way too expensive (I know there's a high price on components right now), I use this site https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/ to compare components to try to decide (like if one SSD has double the space than another, but it doesn't cost double the price, but a bit higher, then I think it may be worth it). Can someone here give me some guidelines on which motherboard/CPU/GPU combination would be good for a reasonable price?I saw a lot of i9/i7 CPU seem to be way better than my current i5, but I'm not sure if this would require something to take into consideration for the motherboard/GPU. The last time I got a "good combination" I didn't take into account that the GPU would block slots from the motherboard because it was way too big.Also... I'm biased against AMD due my old Athlon PC burned down (and ruined my other components) and left me a really really sour taste afterwards, so I'd most likely go for intel.TLDR: what I want is some guidelines I could take as a starting point, because there's a lot of components on the market and I'm not sure what to go for.
