Where do we go during our sleep? is it some different plane? What are dreams?Had a very weird dream. In dream I'm part of hobby group, and two non-natives from hobby group came from another contined for sleep over to discuss the hobby interests. RL I have a sofa that turns to a sofabed, in dream my old sofa does it for some reason. So the two sleep on the sofabed as we're heading to sleep. Well we can't get sleep, it seems we're entering some territory of "chit-chat" before sleep and one person decides to try move my corner bed closer to the sofa, so I can chat with them from my bed while we try to sleep. Well the person ends up almost breaking the leg of my bed, which is when I do a "revert" magic which means the time of the object goes back in 15 seconds, bed goes back to its original position. The person moving the bed is like "ok whatever" , but the other person once I did this "revert" action started staring at me crazy like "wtf did you just do" and it sent chills down my spine, not quite nightterror or "nightmare" levels of fear, but I did ask the person "did you like what I just did" and the person said "uh huh" or something. Dream ends shortly after that I don't know what to take from this, I don't know either of these people (and they're not native, couldn't undersntand my windows OS language), yet they're coming for sleepover from different continent? Are dreams some kind of "hub" where spirits meet? But I think it'd not be great to automatically assume so because sometimes we meet people we know, and they sure as hell never can recall what you told them in a dream so I doubt that's fully it, but something tells me that the person moving the bed was genuine, while the other who started at me as if I'd done something forbidden with my revert magick, I think that person was some kind of archon or entity who was in my dream or something, why else would that person be able to send chills at me with their staring alone?

I'm an experienced but "unlicensed" cave diver. I've been diving hundreds of times over decades, but after what I saw you'll never get me into the water ever again. None of my diving buddies that I could tell about this believe me. They think I must have had nitrogen narcosis or something. I was part of an informal under-the-radar group who basically cared more about YOLO than sitting on our asses getting licenses and qualifications for every little thing. We'd get some basic paperwork so we can get gear without raising too many questions but otherwise get it from our friends and lie our asses off about where we're going and what we were doing.A friend and I were illegally diving in a cave and he was killed by some kind of organism that I only saw briefly, but it looked like picrel. I had passed over it seconds earlier, felt a sudden current and turned back to see the tentacles rising around my buddy. He didn't seem to notice at first because he was looking in the direction of his light, and it was surrounding him slowly, I tried to warn him but at the last second they closed around him and I saw his momentary panic as in a split second they dragged him down into a smaller crevice in the cave floor.The rapid action threw up sediment reducing visibility after that and I was so panicked I used up an embarrassing amount of air just getting the fuck outta there. Divers aren't supposed to panic and I've stayed perfectly calm in innumerable critical situations but this was so sudden it triggered an animal instinct I never felt before. I wasn't even thinking and I'm actually surprised I even kept my regulator in my mouth or managed to quell my panic enough during the ascent to avoid decompression illness.Caves are supposed to be devoid of larger or dangerous lifeforms due to a minimal food chain.
