There are times I fell into a bit of solipsism and believed the outside world was a reflection of my inner world, i.e. people do wicked things because I am thinking or behaving wickedly, even if on a much smaller scale than people like politicians or businessmen. And thinking about it again now, I can't actually disprove this until my inner world improves to the point where I can see either a clear disconnect with the exterior, or the exterior begins to improve accordingly.
