No. I thought that too but it's pretty sad and stupid to live a life without a religion. That's why I'm a gnostic. Spirituality is deep. Find a tradition and accept it fully. Then you will be so happy and serene. I promise. I am a gnostic pagan. I believe in the divine spark. I believe Christ was a messenger and a divine Logos from God. I believe in my own set of beliefs but they are most closely fundamentally aligned with animistic paganism.

James the apostle was accused of being someone who doesn't pray and that was seen as a bad thing in the gnostic text the first or second apocalypse of James I don't remember which one.
