>>38385974Dumbass. Both tin and aluminum are "receivers of radio waves" cause they're fuckin metal. That's the point of a faraday cage. It absorbs EM waves. In fact aluminium is a much better conductor so aluminium foil is better than tin.
>>38389105i think you're the retard here
>>38389105Wait is the theory behind tinfoil hats that they act as faraday cages? I guess I never thought about it, that makes sense to some degree.
>>38389144NTA but radio waves and x-rays are extremely different, and the concept of faraday cages and shielding(which is what lead is used for) are extremely different.Shielding is used to block high energy radiation(like x-rays) to prevent them from causing biological damage such as cancer. Faraday cages are designed to cancel out signals that would cause EM interference(not necessarily powerful ones although sometimes they are designed specifically to block weaponized EM pulses) by inducing their own EM waves that cancel it out and protect what's inside.
>>38375097is there much of a natsee presence on /x/? i remember there was a great migration from /pol/ a couple years back but doesn;t seem so much now?and I'm no.3 but replace the soda with drug paraphernalia, clothes (mix of cleaned and uncleaned intermingling across carpet) and loose papers/booksi long for the minimalist lifestyle of no.1 but being honest I'm a mess
>>38377270i know it's cringe but whenever i hear anything about the us healthcare system it does make me glad i don't live there. with that said we're only ten years away from the same system being fully implemented in my country so it's much of a muchness i suppose
>>38386241i work full time and i'm depressed, days blur into a meaningless routine and i can feel my soul actively being robotizedbut when i was unemployed it's not like i was free - being unemployed is a full time job in itself, life becomes a blurry meaningless routine of base survival. theoretically i had the time to focus on my creative work but the reality was i couldn't afford anything and had to focus everyday on the hustleBataille said that accepting a life of "ruinous splendour" is better than a life of corporate slavery and i tend to agree but it still sucks, there's no good option unless you've got rich parents you can mooch off. then again even those people seem to me fundamentally detached from the pulse and the hum which is the vital core to all creativity. so maybe there is just no good option at all. Adorno said "the wrong life cannot be lived rightly" meaning that in inhuman social conditions a meaningful and moral life is impossiblec'est la vie
