It's a common thing for people feeling depressed about the world I thinkGenerally everyone healthy mentally sorta have to play along with this bullshit theatre we call life, it's what keeps us grounded in a way.This "what happend on the news" "did you see our neighbour get a new car" "wow the Olympics are coming up, that's exciting" mundane type shit is what keeps us distracted from the immense dread that is existence, so once you stop caring for the theatrics for one reason or another everybody seems fake.It's like being on the scene of a theatre play and forgetting your lines, and everyone just keeps going anyway. I don't think these people are fake, it's just their way of coping with the overwhelming pressure of it all.Not that these things can't be interesting or don't have value, it's just a weird priority of it. A hyper focus on what we can understand.Anyhow people are real, at least there are real people out there, we're just all buried in the theatrics of the mundane to keep us sane.

It is a dream. If you pay attention you can see it and it really psyches you out. It's honestly a frightening thing that you naturally kinda hide from. You run away from it because it is intense.
