On November 7th 2004 something terrifying happened on a German TV Channel ('Prosieben') while commercials were running.People who were watching it mostly agree that it happened more or less like this:- during a commercial for MINI (the car brand) suddenly the picture goes static- some sort of greenish-looking "Alien"-like creature is shown, possibly sitting or standing behind a desk- the creature says something, (some people mention that it was speaking into a microphone and reading off of a piece of paper or something)- at some point it starts looking to the left and then back at the camera (some say it had a 'confused' or 'belligerent' look on its face)- picture goes static again for a few seconds, commercials continue like normalWTFThe next day, a show on Prosieben picks it up ('TV-Total') and talks about it."Yeah guys, its a "Pirate Advertisement" for Halo 2, all good."They re-run the clip:It's completely fabricated, the quality is way better and everything looks different.Someone uploaded this "fabricated rerun" of the commercial that was shown the next day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oht1M1Nqx7MMost of the comments are in German. I feel like someone genuinely hacked the german tv channel, and in order for them to keep their reputation of being a well protected channel, claimed it was a halo 2 ad to not freak anyone out. Atleast thats what i think :P
