Now that that's over, I need to say a word about my posts above where I was pondering whether demons were worthless or not, and our god and holy GOD did choose to invent them. And I've come to...not quite a conclusion but something that I think is a viable working theory:The existence of the demon makes sense as a matter of profound engineering prowess. Because our emotions are energy, even our negative ones. And since our universe is our universe's ONLY perpetual motion machine, all of the energy we expel must necessarily be catched by something and reused as it's awaiting it's time to be formed into something new to be recycled.That's where demons come in. They are the force which mops up our most negative emotions. They take those emotions inside and feed on them. They are the toiletbowls for humanity. Despite their magical ranks they assign themselves to try to seem important, these are all just fictions and egoisms. IRL they are simply humanity's psychic toilet even those of those who call themselves "high ranking"
