i think we all just want to meet one.the frustrating thing, is I'm pretty sure i have at some point. i have had a lot of dreams about them. a lot of my dreams come true. ive seen places they reside, their histories, the strange families, and covens they keep. so so many countless dreams about where they live and how they interact. i feel drawn to them, but i get the feeling i didn't make the grade or something, or maybe they think i'm not ready. one checked in on me in a dream a time or two. RANT: the older i get, though, so many of the accomplishments of this world seem so pointless. most of my friends, family, and lovers have stabbed me in the back, and a little bit of me dies each time, but i also rise above it! doing so, makes me believe there is a way to rise above all forms of death. vampires possess the jewel of creation as far as i can tell - the ability to hurl themselves through the ages, to develop spiritually for a time without losing their memories, and to shrug their losses and move on. i have whispers of my past lives. i don't seem to be making much progress from one life to the next. i need a way to hold on to my development for a time.do they think i'm foolish? perhaps all these memories i have leave something out? the images and experiences i have of their society and their physiology might be incomplete. but it all feels unfathomably real. colors i don't have names for in the waking world, sensations, and abilities i see and feel them using in dreams. i guess this is all of us fishing, hoping the universe will take our bait. i believe they are THE conspiracy that ties all the others together. i suspect they are keeping the aliens away (this is a good thing, i'm guessing). there are too many oddities surrounding the vampire phenomenon. it must be central to everything.
