No. Three components to a quark. UP and DOWN the main two components by far, but still they are grouped in threes.

As far as we know. We still have no idea what the hell antimatter does. Antiquarks or anti-componets of a quark could very much be on the table and youd never detect them.

An even better example is the force they use. Quarks interact via the Strong Nuclear force which has 3 charges usually named "color charge". The values are Red, Green, and Blue.
There's no ambiguity there about pairs. It's a triplet through and through.
It's a very strange force too. It actually gets stronger the further away the particles are. That's why nuclei remain stable even when you have so much positive electric charge packed into it.
