It is funny to see this phenomena on 4chan considering the Catholic Church deemed magic a superstition all the way back in the 13th century. This is why I believe most Christians here are larping. Actual Christians don't believe magic is real in the first place.

I'm not even saying that to be mean or to be elitist. The level of stupidity on /x/ is sad, but I honestly remember when it wasn't this bad. I say that for a reason. Major world religions are like /x/. They're meant to shuffle you into groups and keep you somewhat contained within those groups. Looking into the inner teachings of those religions you find an esoteric secret treasure trove that opens up a whole new world. That's what magick is. Studying the inner dimension of your mind and the inner dimension of religion. The people who tell you not to look into it are the very ones who have the occult knowledge, the priest caste themselves. Once you realize this then you'll understand why they tell you not to look into it. They are keeping it for themselves and know that 80% won't even get close to the inner workings at all.
