What is your favorite book? Hard to know. Every book can be the right one in the right situation. Lankavatara sutra, as bodhidharma focused his teaching on it, could be an answer. What do you worship? God, the one spirit from whom all other things derive. Why do you worship god? Because it is the right thing to do for me, and, because it gives me immeasurable bliss and helps me through a lot.

>>39121781Prayer is good. Meditation is neutral, it only benefits you if god allows it. Meditation is not evil, but it is not as helpful as just mental, vocal, or silent prayer. That is much more useful instead of meditating for hours, imagine praying for hours. I have tried both and prayer wins, even if the victory is most subtle and most will reject this fact because they are not ready to pray that much. When I pray, all my fears and sorrows fly away. That cannot be said about meditation. I don't feel better after meditation as during just a short prayer. Trust me, I've done my work, prayer is better.
