I desperately want to believe in the paranormal, but I've just never seen anything that couldn't either be rationally explained or safely be assumed to have a rational explanation.I hate being a sceptic, I just want to believe in something truly extraordinary and paranormal. What is your best proof? For anything paranormal?
my proof are the signs that have appeared on my body. it is both personal and real, and i have come to the conclusion that some people just refuse to believe in me out of fear but they won't make me doubt myself. what exactly in the paranormal do you want to believe to be true? let's start there
>>39125520And I want to believe your mother isn't a whore but there's just no evidence
>>39125540No, she is. You're right.
>>39125520The fact that every culture in the world has ancient myths of cataclysmic floods and angels and dragons is proof of something interesting at least.
>>39125520i think the things we do know are pretty extraordinary. more so than big monkey in the woods anyway.

Wouldn't everyone having similar experiences on DMT be proof of some kind of supernatural phenomenon?

>>39127042I've seen them. People around me saw them. I will note I haven't seen any in the last decade or so though, it's as though they've hidden, been eliminated or just aren't coming/manifesting anymore

>>39125520God, UFOs, ghosts, ESP, magick, mediums, angels and demons it's all real but there is a reason you dont see ghosts at a huge New Years eve party or ufos dont land in Manhattan. The paranormal avoids detection. This is by design. The big people up there want it this way. Now the bits and pieces of the truth is available for us seekers but 99% of the normie masses cant possible cope with how strange the world is. In some ways the deboonkers are doing God's work by protecting the sanity of the normies.https://youtu.be/9PLhgQ7hd-w?si=eNCg4RULDusiSwt7
For UFOs, it is pretty hard to get "proof" unless you are the military or one happens to land close enough to clearly photograph and you have an analog camera + multiple witnesses. >>39125520UFOs are real, bigfoot is real, ghosts are real, ESP is real - all these things have been told about, written about, sung about, painted, engraved, photographed, filmed, over and over since the dawn of mankind by every human tribe around the world. Its getting so tiresome with these "i need pr00f" fags. What kind of proof do you still need? You dont believe peoples reports? Everyone lies? You believe all pictures are faked? All videos are fake? All audio recording is fake? Do you need to see it yourself live? Fine, there are a lot of hotspots, if you really wanted you get off your coach and go check it out for yourself.

when i was very young my two older brothers would occasionally talk about a time they had seen a 'ghost' while i was still so small i was in a crib. neither of my grandfathers were still alive when i was born.. and the location was as we were visiting my mothers family. i was not aware of the actual scene.. but they talked about it between themselves and it was clear that the two of them agreed that they had seen it. it set me seeking in much the same manner that you seek now. there are answers.. and a lot of them. you have to seek the perception, at least in spirit. you have to be able to perceive and not just reject the perception.at this point later in my life i have seen many things that would qualify as answer to what you seek. many people seek to reject the perceptions of others.. and while it is true that you have to evaluate the sources of accounts of second hand experience the real issue with gathering this type of experience come from issues with dealing with your own world view and mental model of reality. direct experience can force you to either go full matrix movie blue pill or go very nearly insane at least temporarily. many people are very good at taking extraordinary experience and creating a partitioned awareness.. a realm in which these things can exist and an ordinary realm in which they do not get acknowledged. for most people the realm in which they can exist only is within their awareness while the experience is actually happening or in the immediate after. ask them about the same thing they were openly able to discuss as the days go by afterwards and you will see how the reality fades from their awareness even of their own direct personal perception. when it does not fit in with their world view and mental model of reality then they block it out of their minds..and this is where you are. no chance exists that none of this has been within your experience. you are already engaged in the process of blocking it out of your memory. cont.
>>39129420you already have these experiences, at least some of them.but it is as this guy is saying >>39129223if you want the experiences in some instances you have to go to where they are more likely to occur. in many instances you have to go to a specific location etc. the creatures known collectively as bigfoot or sasquatch or other similar concepts are migratory animals of some sort. they are massive and extremely powerful but seem to be aware of human presence to an extreme degree.. literally they can pass through an area that is inhabited by humans with the humans barely noticing. my experience with this was at a time when others were reporting the same thing, not publicly but among friends. i didn't see it but it passed overhead while jumping from tree to tree.. weighing so much that it made each tree it landed on sound like a giant wooden xylophone key making a crisp clear note.. one after another from tree to treea with only a few seconds between each jump.. and then only a tiny slight rustle of leaves as it moved away from one towards the next. the trees were all 4 and 5 foot diameter old growth. it may have been traveling on what was to it a known path that ran beside a golf course and a creek. it ain't much but at least it is my own personal experience that gives me more than a second hand report to build my understanding from. i also have direct experience with the beings from the stars. they are using technology to keep you unaware.. you also have these experiences but are going to have to get past the technology that is being used to prevent it. takes a lot of effort to at least notice the defects of the technology and retain your memories of the strange events that you are discarding within you own memory.
>>39129153You need to have your face painted with Occam's razor.
>>39129420>>39129425ghosts also are something i have experience with. they can literally move physical matter.. but then if you are perceptive enough they can leave you wondering very much about how exactly this works. in one instance i was walking across a graveyard daytime in dry leaves and could clearly hear someone walking behind me. the person had been getting nearer to me for a while since i had entered but i had not turned to see who it was.. when it was only a few meters away i decided to turn to see.. and there was no trail of feet print leading up to the spot but there was a pile of leaves where a pair of small feet had slid forward into the leaves causing them to pile up on the front of these two invisible feet.. nothing other than that and i looked around for a few moments before i was about to turn back around to continue walking.. and then right before i turned away the two little feet prints shuffled and turned.. and ran in a curving arc all the way to a far corner of the graveyard where a wild messy cedar tree was sprawling over the area. it was clear that it was a very small child from the feet steps and the way the turn had been gracefully leaning in that arc path.. so i decided to at least look through every stone in the small cemetery to try to find anyone who could have been that small. none were even close.. so i eventually left but years later.. literally almost 30 years later.. i had to take someone to a medical appointment in a building beside the location. having to wait on the person i decided to go down and walk through again. the wild sprawling cedar tree had been removed and underneath it was the only gravestone in the place that was flat with the surface of the ground.. of a 4 year old girl who died in the 1870s. its not my only experience with such things.. growth in knowledge comes from growth in experience. if you have your desire for knowledge secure in your heart.. live your life. you will encounter the things that you seek.
>>39125589Yeah it just means that ancient people settled along rivers (all of which flood sometimes) and got scared of animals that they caught glimpses of. Dipshit.
>>39129573There's not a single animal in Europe that at least somewhat resembles a dragon.>inb4 tiny lizards that could sit in your palmInterestingly enough, lands inhabited by such animals (big crocodiles, Komodo dragon, giant snakes) don't have myths about euurope-esque dragons and wyverns.
>>39129096Our Lady of Zeitoun. There's literally no skeptical explanation other than some schizo theory about earthquake lights that other skeptics don't even take seriously. There's also plenty of Eucharist miracles where the only skeptical explanation is that the scientists who investigated them are deliberately lying (which at that point you could doubt anything you want by saying everyone is lying).
>>39129679Meant for op >>39125520
>>39129679>the only skeptical explanation is that the scientists who investigated them are deliberately lying (which at that point you could doubt anything you want by saying everyone is lying). That's because skeptics actually aren't trying to find evidence, to believe or something, despite often claiming that they do. Instead they are fighting tooth and nail to straight disprove anything "supernatural", even if their "explanation" is ridiculous. They are not potential converts; they are enemies and an obstacle and their purpose is to keep as many people as possible from climbing over the edge of mystery. They are a natural filter, keeping out those who isn't mentally strong enough to either ignore or dismiss their argumentation. And the more people will understand this, the more their influence will fade.

A long time ago, maybe around 2006-2008ish, I remember watching a video on YouTube or viddler or somewhere where a guy had a clearly dead squirrel and he dipped his fingers in some kind of liquid then massaged the squirrel a certain way and it started breathing and moving. I remember that it took a long time and that he was standing in what looked like his kitchen, he was standing left of the frame and you could see the squirrel on the countertop. There was a window on the right. I think he had a lot of other videos but that's the only one I remember. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Every few years I try to find it but I don't remember anything like his username or the title of the video, it's really frustrating. It was convincing even if it could be faked.
>>39127042>UFO sightings have massively decreased since the advent of smart phonesWrong, you just stopped searching for videos
>>39125520Amusingly, they used that same skull in another fake giant pic, where they laid it into a National Geographic photo of a sauropod dinosaur being excavated by Paul Sereno and his team.
>>39125635Why not? A huge number of people in the world believe it to be true, might as well have some idea of what it is that they believe... you'll be sharing a world with them for the rest of your life.
>>39131596I think you are right, there are still a lot of "UFO videos" cropping up, but then so many of them are pretty obvious fakes now that CGI FX software is available to anybody who wants it.What is notable is that "close encounter" claims that aren't CGI bullshit DO seem to be way down, the genuine seeming vids and pics are all of the "distant blob too far away to see what it is" variety. But somethign that is to far away to identify being unidentified is not really evidence of Ayyys or whatever people want UFOs to be -- it is just evidence that every camera has a limit beyond which it can't get a good image of a given object.
>>39125520That looks fake af>>39132141Seems like any photo where they are doing a dig for giant bones is faked. Mudfossils on the other hand...
>>39129573I think it's funny how the assumption is always that ancient people were too retarded to understand the difference between a giant cataclysmic flood vs particularly bad seasons river flooding. Or that a river would flood and within 100 years their historians/storytellers would change that to "yeah the ENTIRE WORLD flooded actually and destroyed every advanced civilization!"Meanwhile, ancient people have shown the capacity to perfectly memorize tens of thousands of lines of religious oral tradition word for word. But no, suddenly they decide that the entire world flooded because a river did...

>>39125520I don’t want to get into it because I think it’s important my proof stays hidden. It isn’t meant to be known with certainty by the masses. I’ll say this though, with what I know, there are clues ALL around you, little breadcrumbs of truth left all over. You see a lot of human practices and customs that have their origins in the greater powers. This is not a real example, but it’s like Christmas cookies. People bake cookies and they’re basically clueless to some original very power ritual that involved those cookies. It’s stuff like that and it’s all over. A real example are tarot cards…do they work? Maybe not for one person, but they absolutely do when used by another and the reason why that is connects with A LOT of the other aspects of the paranormal. Breadcrumbs…traces of the real thing in all of the fake shit you see around you that is considered the paranormal now.

>>39129223Yes, everything is probably fake or misunderstood.I've gone to hotspots. Nothing happened. Got one your know for sure works? I'm not OP but I've been begging something to change my mind.Either that or I'm some kind of walking deadspot. My grandfather is semi-well known in the UFO community, has written several books, I've been to talks he's given and shit. Most members of my family claim to have had experiences, but they all happened before I was born or while I wasn't around. So why never me? A friend claimed to be haunted by something thay would always show up if she was near a local hotspot. Other friends who were with her corroborated. I convinced her to go back and nothing happened. Even if you've seen proof, you can see how someone like me wouldn't believe, right? I have wanted so badly for so msny years to see this side of the world that others claim to. But at this point, yeah, I think everyone is either lying, crazy, or misremembering/misinterpreting. I wish it wasn't the case. >>39127042UFO sightings have literally exploded in frequency since smart phones, what the fuck are you talking about?
>>39125520>>39134008The 'bigfoot' in the room with demanding proof of the paranormal is that the most passionate people don't actively want anything they believe in to be proven. They want everything to remain as ambiguous as possible because the importance of proving any of this is real *pales* in comparison to the existential threat they might prove something they've anchored their life around is fake. Furthermore, there's a distinct rigidity to people's feelings about the paranormal: they come to their own conclusions and then they look for things that confirm them after the fact, ignoring basically everything else. I say that in the capacity that a 'believer' could hypothetically discover irrefutable, undeniable evidence that UFOs are in fact atmospheric animals, but unfortunately for everyone else: they need UFOs to be extra-dimensional demons, not sky jellyfish, so they deny, reject, mobile post, and bury this information as deeply as they can. It's a whole lot of that.
