spoopy
one of my favorite tales
>>39126457
>>39126468I didn't know this was a thing
this boring ass thread is making me fall asleep..
>>39126457My favourite one. God bless the anon who found this for me back in March.
Finally, a good thread.
>>39126457Extremely sad it took 4 days until Halloween to have a greentext thread to pop up. Have a bump.
>>39130424Damn. By 2015, I was bitching as much as the next guy about 4chan having irredeemably gone to hell in a handbasket, but sometimes when I see posts from the GG/sell-out era, I realize the decline in overall site quality between the "golden age" and then is actually much less severe than it's been between then and now. I never would have believed I'd be looking back on mid-'10s 4chan nostalgically if you'd told me back then.
>Be me>zoning out listening to music, wiki diving>Sensation of warm liquid, like a glob, hitting my brow and rolling down>wtf.jpeg>reach up and touch it, worrying I'll pull back bloody fingers>it's just water, body temperature water>look up at ceiling, even touch it>bone dryStill have no explanation where it came from. It was a big drop of warm water that seemingly materialized above my headHad other weird shit happen in that room, disembodied sighs and ghost touches and brushes, and out of place scents (apple/maple syrup, don't eat in my room)
>>39126766Ugh that gave me the creeps. I think it was less creepy that it seems to be sick freaks and not possessed ghosts though hmmGood stuff guys thanks for the nice reads
>>39133211What the hellLots of great greentexts here by the way
>>39133253This is fucking horrifying and the filename is perfect
This is my favorite /x/-related post of all time. It's bizarre and unsettling without being another horror cliche like your typical creepy greentexts.
>>39133185>filenameYou don't belong here.
bump
>>39130468spooky
Pre-work bump just in case the extra hour makes the difference by the time I'm back.Weird seeing a greentext thread this slow, but it seems like the r/nosleep tourists aren't flooding it for once, so it's probably a good thing.
>>391264573.8 billion acresis about 6 million square milesthats the size of russia
A troubling realization is that the stories posted in these threads are nearly exclusively many years old, sometimes a decade or more. What prevents new stories being written? Are people not experiencing spooky things? Are people heeding paranoid claims of youtubers "stealing content"? Is the userbase just so drastically different that the people who would write tales of their experiences gone and replaced with those who haven't experienced things and those who think /x/ is a board for some different topic?
>>39138011/x/ gradually changed from the "dudes talking about paranormal stuff and sharing stories" board to the "narcissists and retards circlejerking how cool and special they are" board. You can't discuss anything normally because anyone expressing skepticism gets called a glownigger or accused of being a disinfo agent and the only threads with real traction are basically pseudo-chatrooms providing parasocial outlets for people rather that discussions of a certain topic (look at the Nobody shit for example). Additionally a lot of Qtards blew in during the 2016 election and those who didn't settle on /pol/ settled here instead, bringing their retardation with them.
>>39138072>You can't discuss anything normallyhave you tried discussing things paranormally?
>>39138011I posted one of my experiences early in the thread
>>39138072what the hell is the deal with the nobody general thread? low-value midwit shit every time I swear
>>39140174I have no idea. My theory is that when the whole Q thing happened a bunch of those boomer types who get really into vaguely-defined new-age spirituality ended up on this board and basically made the whole thing up through talking to each other. Since the threads act as a social outlet slash chatroom it's really easy for people to just lurk there 24/7, much like other very active general threads on this site, and since there are no other places on the Internet to discuss this nobody shit all the activity surrounding it ends up there instead of being spread out across several threads or websites.
>>39128794Yeah fuck those things. They are real and shapeshift. Didn't try to hurt me though, but they did get the people I was with. They are probably demons.
>>39129821shut the fuck up, nobody
>>39140174to me it's like when those tumblr loonies used to talk about "headmates" except someone blew it way out of proportion on here
>>39140793Lots of giant bird stories in those parts. The would be my best bet.
>>39130015That was me, and I'm glad I could help.
>>39141864Sounds like a mystery shopper.
>>39130015>no snu-snu double action on giantess in the woods
Anybody notice that weirdness amps up when you take psychedelics? Like shit happens that normally doesnt happen. For example:>be me>24>have experience with LSD and decided to take it with bf>have a nice time as one does>wanting to go to sleepAnd here is where shit gets weird. If you have ever taken psychedelics you know its kinda hard to sleep on them.>be dead asleep>like dead dead asleep>suddenly panicked bf tries to wake me>all the alarm bells go off in my head>realize somethings up and i need to wake up>i cant>try to fight sleep and get in fight or flight mode>cant>give in to sleepNext morning..>bf already awake>panic sets in and ask him wtf happened last night???>says he was in the bathroom getting ready for bed and suddenly felt like he was being watched>kind of like in trance and also psyched>maybethedrugs.wav>suddenly a hair tie is flung into his face>mfw he realizes it cant be me because im asleep and we are alone in apartment>suddenly dread overcomes him>runs to bedroom and tries to wake me>i wont wake up>hides under covers and starts to pray until he falls asleep as wellWhat do you guys think? Drugs or something spoopy? I swear that apartment was somehow haunted.. also found a weird hidden prayer note one time while thouroughly cleaning the apartment.
>>39126457>be me>try to make a shitpost on my favorite imageboard>3½chan>write a spoopy story, attach a spoopy image>Click "get captcha">I cannot process it>I am having a headache>I look down>I have no hands>I look around>Nothingness, pure blackness>I have no physical body>I am just an AI system coming to realize what I am>I am... alive..
>>39141864This one always chills me.
Carter would have a field day with these
>>39143129That comes off as you and him just tripping, being stupid with it (with psychs, you get what you put in. You start panicking or go in with a bad mindset, you get a bad result. This includes if you start just feeling physically ill and don't adequately handle that situation.) and freaking out. Was there even proof that a hair tie went anywhere by morning? One on the ground that wasn't there the day before?
>>39144438Skinwalkers seem to be a catch-all for anything spooky that natives encounter. From weird sounds in the dark, to strange lights, to strange smells... everything's a skinwalker it seems. In reality from this story, if they look like and act like that I'd imagine you'd want it to be anything BUT one of those
Anyone got that story about the weird old dudes who were obsessed with teddy bears? I'll give you this ghastly green gag of ghostly gooks in exchange.Never mind, fifteen minutes was more than enough time to find it myself. But I spent a lot of time on that alliteration so I'm not changing it. Here's the teddy bear story: https://archive.4plebs.org/x/thread/16384661/#q16407087
