So usually divination is seen as way to to gain to information into uncertain/hidden aspects of reality and the self. But what if instead of just providing information divination actually changes or sets reality.I was thinking about this because in quantum physics a quantum particle can be in multiple states until we observe it and it gets locked into being a particle or a wave for instance. So what if when someone competently uses divination to peer into the unknown we are actually collapsing countless possibilities into a truth related to the reading by observing the unknown. Theoretically could such a mechanism be behind synchronicity where as our mind sees the symbol in the unknown collapsing some future possibility in a way so that it appears. Also this would have interesting implications with the self fulfilling prophecy stories from myths and maybe it's best not to peer into the unkown in order to keep the possibilities limitless instead of setting the world on a random course we happened to see?
its less that it writes reality and more that thought/cognition rewires one's own reality; so when receiving a divination, it causes shifts in one's thoughts that make it either more or less likely for said predicted future to come true. (this shift works in grand scales in relation to the collective cognition.) the principles you have in mind are solid though; it's essentially active "hyperstition" via person-to-person memetic control (the memetic substrate being the tool of divination, whether cards, magic ball, or otherwise.)-experienced diviner
>>39139784Divination reads out many possible truths and presents the central themes and most likely occurrences. Prophecies on the other hand are a bit different. Usually more vague, but have definite events that are cemented in place. If you think of time as 2d then there are many forks for many possibilities but where the prophetic events are is a wall that all timelines must cross.
>>39140008time is not 2d but instead more akin to a hyper-dimensional lattice. points in time can effect other points in various and non-linear fashions; retrocausal alignment via culture. recoloring of past events. and so on.
>>39140175Yes it is also at least a 3 dimensional construct perhaps even 4 dimensional, but for this example it is only requires 2 dimensions to explain.
Yup. I dont ever make predictions when i read. Its difficult and uselessAlso people mostly want you to reafirm their preconceived ideas or desires

>>39139784Yea, sort of true. We create reality on a soul level and agree as to what it is.Similar to channeling. To me, channeling is creation of interdimensional reality. Those who are using it trying to perceive future events in this reality are misunderstanding what they perceive and instead create the reason why such events don't occur for them right now.
>>39139784Do tarot readers have more experiences that correlate to those archetypes or are they simply more aware of those archetypal presences? OP you can test your hypothesis with a survey or experiment across numerous divinatory methods: tarot, lenormand, traditional cartomancy, I Ching, geomancy, runes, oracle decks (which often have only positive meanings included), etc.
>>39139784I made a story about it once.thier was a group of fake deviners that real diveners hated caused they didn't actually see the truth just forced the future.
Bumping for information on meta-divination.
Divination is less reliable than working with friends on something useful.
