New timeline just dropped, cern has been fucking about in the run up to the election it seems and today I woke up and noticed that Spain is no longer to the left of and immediately parallel to France but in fact way below it and ajoined to the bottom of it by a tiny slither of a border.

WTF is going on?

Timeline shifting is a psyop.

Now they expect you to believe that these two were always parallel and this close to eachother as opposed to Iceland being way up north and a lot closer to Europe it's absurd. They've been manipulating the map.

WTF. I’ve never seen the map of Europe like that showing France and Spain like that. Look at all the NPCs in the thread that don’t notice something’s seriously fucked up here. I was doing YouTube video quizzes on guessing the country recently and yea OP is right.
>>
>>39141132
americans are so stupid, next thing we will have threads of anons who are conviced that the US was right next to palestine, iran, iraq, vietnam, russia and china and all their imperial adventurer politics ware self defensive from agressive neighbours.

There is not, and has never been, a map that accurately portrays the size, shape, and location of countries.

I actually made a thread about it yesterday, I'm glad someone noticed it too.
However for me it shifted a while ago

If you want you can read the archived thread 39136819.

Don't pay attention to retards trying to convince you it was always like that. Because it was, for them.

Anons here are saying it is because of the map projection. But there's difference between two countries being parallel because of the projection distortion, and countries literally being joined in a different way.

I don't think this is timeline shifting or whatever. I think some people's consciousness is being randomly transferred to parallel universes for some reason.
I think that because for me the map changed a while ago.

This is how I remember the map.

So...you think the English Channel is also between Spain and England - but no one ever bothered to swim to Spain?
Why - with your map - is there all the focus between England and France, and the only real contention between Spain and England was with their navies?
>>
>>39141141
There are two equally possible scenarios that might explain this phenomenon;

Theory 1: OP was transferred into our native timeline, along with >>39141360. Two additional humans suddenly appearing would be completely unnoticeable from our perspective.

Theory 2: The aforementioned posters both attended public education in the US.
>>
>>39141506
its theory 2 ... Spain and France always has been like that, never heard storys from ppl on vacation in france and driving to the west to also visit spanish coast... like wtf
>>
>>39141495
There should be a reason why I, OP, and another anon in this thread, remember the map differently, with Spain being to the left of France.

Nearest point between England and France is 20 miles.
At MOST, the nearest point between England and Spain on your map is twice that. So 40 miles.
Your "400 miles" is complete bullshit. Moreso than your bullshit map.
Answer this anon: >>39141562
Where is this island? Where do all these people live, in your map?
>>
>>39141132
WTF op! I remember noticing the same exact thing on reddit maybe a couple of weeks ago? on 2westerneurope4u. but I thought I was overthinking it or maybe that it was a different kind of map. I distinctly remember that! are the other anons NPCs completely oblivious? is this how Mandela effects spawn?
>>
>>39141446
honest to God I distinctly remember this strangeness not so long ago, maybe a couple of weeks, precisely browsing 2westerneurope4u on reddit. I Remember thinking maybe their map was badly designed or with a different perspective. is nobody noticing shit anymore?
>>
>>39141651
Yes anon, we normies have merged with the current timeline and don't possess any memories of the one you come from where the tectonic plates moved differently.

>>
>>39141673
>is nobody noticing shit anymore?
Well, they are not the problem.
If they are from this universe, of course Spain always was down from France for them. It's this reality's map.

I suggest to avoid confusion call this current universe "X" and the universe where Spain is to the left of France "Y"
>>
>>39141696
I'm not sure now that you mention it. But I very distinctly remember this Spain thing a few days ago, maybe a couple of weeks. I remember looking at the map online and thinking that the map was either drawn wrong or using a different perspective. I remember exactly was I was doing, browsing reddit and finding the fucked up map. WTF is going on?
>>
>>39141724
So where's your Spain supposed to be then? I wish one of you from the fucked up Spain universe would make a simple drawing or something.

The strait of Gibraltar is too wide there, i've never seen Spain in that awkward position in my life, nor the new geographical locations that are forming because of it. So either you just never paid any real attention to how Spain looks like or you just come from a different universe, either, that shit doesn't exist here.
>>
>>39141780
Awful. I've been chronically sick for years with a mystery illness, bone disease and plenty more. so far there's only a weirdness that I perceive, and a feeling of impeding doom. I'm not sure I noticed more so far. maybe I'm missing something. Im trying to be positive because I think I caused this curse on me with my negativity. I'm trying to correct that.

I don't know. I can't even precisely tell when I got transferred here

I think most likely it's either some kind of anomaly, or an intentional experiment.

I've lived here 40+ years and the Channel was always between UK and Normandy. Nothing in history would make sense otherwise. Spain has never been attached to the side of France. It would make no sense at all and none of European history would make any sense.

Please stop it with this stupid shit. You just sound retarded. For God sake open a history book and look at maps. Being ignorant and misinformed is not a Mandela effect. And afterwards kys

else put cloves, cilantro, and oregano in your sipping broths, ask the cute girl at the cafe to put cinnamon in your cafe, and in lieu of eating just Mozzarella and Tomatoes as an appetizer, get the variation of that salad with horse meat (Ive seen on on menus with the word for horsetrack rather than cavallio or whatever the word is)

Horses love humans and humans love horses. Therefore, their meat is healthier for the human body that the chickens and cattle that have unsatisfactory lives.

Around the time BLM/George Floyd riots happened in 2020 there was a secret meeting in Washington DC involving the National Geographic Society, UNESCO, the World Bank, prominent cartographers, and other interested groups. It was decided at that meeting that the Mercator projection was to be deleted from human consciousness as quickly as possible. Although it was known and agreed to be the most accurate projection of earth it was felt that the global south and Africa in particular had to be given more prominence to combat feelings of inferiority in non-whites. The overwhelming majority of land lies in the northern hemisphere in particular north of the 35th parallel north. This was done without any fanfare or much notice and has given rise to a number of geographic mandela effects in the years since.

I disagree, while I felt off about it at first, I think that was confirmation bias due to me wantng to believe it. But as I thnk about the game Rome Total War and how you have to sail around Iberia and then head north along the coast of France, it definitely checks out.
It's a 20 year old game that I've played dozens of times so I know the map very well and it checks out with the OP in fact being the correct version.
