Can you make a servitor on par with stronger spirits? What methods do you use to make stronger and more affective servitors? Instead of asking spirits for help, why cant you make servitors to do it for you?
>>39145104It can be equivalent to roughly 85% of your total output capacity. If you think of the servitor in terms of work done over time, however, it can be extremely powerful, but it all depends on how effective you are as a master. If you're a bum who can't get anything done in your life your underlings aren't going to get much done either
>>39145104servitors are remarkably similar to tulpas, but are robotic and don't have personal agency to such a degree. like tulpas, they need attention ("use"), need cooldown/rest, and have times where they act weird due to growth spurts. sometimes they change forms when they get bigger and show signs of intelligence & personality. after you've had one for years, it will take on bigger tasks and offer to do bigger things for you. servitors can be multipurpose.the cocktail umbrella is a famous servitor that got someone rich. who knows the true story, but some guy acquired this servitor which made him millions. as an egregore, it needs attention. hence all the gags in media where there's a moment of focus of a character opening one of these and putting it on something, while the camera lingers. animation detail is put into showing it opening & placement. but why is that amusing? it's not, it's just forcing you to pay attention to the servitor. and buy them. which makes the guy's business profitable. he probably made a deal with a big entity though, if anyone could have a "get rich quick" servitor, there'd be more of these... unless we haven't noticed.strongbox servitors are also very common, everyone has those. messenger servitors may appear as weird glitchy low-poly bird things or airplanes.
Better to build actual servitors (robots and AI) than imaginary ones.
>>39145104so "why ask spirit for help instead of servitor", well first how big is your servitor? it can take a few years before it's big/dense enough to do something substantial. there's the investment of time, effort, energy. not everyone wants to do that. some spirits out there are big enough to pull some strings, but they also like to really screw people over.only after having my most used servitor, one built to destroy bad thoughts, eliminate distractions, for over 3 years did it start offering to stew over grudges and plot revenge and shit.also had other people's messenger servitors approach me. wondered "why am i suddenly imagining some weird PSX style parrot with glitchy textures telling me stuff" and realized who it belonged to.also strong spirits are uhh, really really big. like so big that you'd shit yourself and run for the hills if you lacked the willpower to hold still. our animalistic side truly fears large spirits. even friendly Gods are terrifying and make the body want to break free and run for miles because big invisible beings are terrifying.
