Isn't it weird that no matter where you are on Earth, we all see the same sun and moon?
stealth flerf thread
what's weird about it?
>>39155192You tell me
>>39155209I don't think it's weird, though, so I don't know what to tell you
>>39154816Isn’t weird how one comes at night and the other during day? It’s like the earth is a spinning ball

>>39155563The moon can be seen sometimes during the day.
I like the moon
>>39155597Almost like it orbits us and we orbit the sunAmazing how that works
>>39156337shut up mason
>>39154816No it isn't.Why would you worry about it?Don't worry about it.It's not worth the bother.
>>39154816But we don't. Wherever you are standing, at whatever moment in time, gives you a very slightly different view to even the person standing right next to you. The light which reaches your eyes is not the same as that which reaches their eyes.Of course with the distances and sizes of the sun and moon, it makes no practical difference. But it can be a metaphor for our own individual experience of the world. Junk thread fail.
>>39154816It's just a coincidence.

>>39154816>>39156808>>39157876>>39157894We don't actually all see the moon the same way. If you live on the equator the moon will look way fuckin' bigger than if you live father north. I actually fortunate enough to be visiting Ecuador during a full moon - it was the most beautiful moon I've ever seen, and probably ever will. Your view of the moon will also differ depending on if you're looking at it from the southern or northern hemisphere, due to the angle/tilt of the planet. Pic related. Furthermore, the seasonal tilt of the planet also shifts and alters our view of the moon - making it look a little bit bigger or smaller.
