I've been meditating a very long time, lots of internal work. And now I can't stand people anymore, not even my relatives. Yap yap yap, they never shutup. The stuff they talk about is so petty, and they have no urgency because they don't even know they have a problem. Totally unconscious!Anyone else in this situation? All these realized sages like Nisargadatta and Robert Adams said the same thing, that you won't be able to stand anyone in the end.
The problem is you take yourself to be the meditator
It’ll pass. That’s just where your family is at on the spiritual path.
>>39225246And what do you think of the chatter of birds, or the barking of dogs? Noise is noise, but what is the nature of your practice anyway? That is not to say your attachment to them should not cause you grief, it's only to say that if you want to help them (or help yourself) then, at some level, separation/independence may be necessary.
>>39225246>The stuff they talk about is so petty, and they have no urgency because they don't even know they have a problem. And the problems of others are not your problems, therefore it is not your problem. You say you meditate but you've completely reversed course somehow.
>>39226004>but what is the nature of your practice anyway? Not thinking and being aware, including some other things like taking a sattvic/rajasic diet for the first time, which was the missing link for me.
>>39225246>they don't even know they have a problemkek. You didn't have a problem either until you imagined that you did
>>39225246Based that means you're enlightening
>>39226161Lol no. >>39226133Yeah you're right.
I've had the same experience -- but it goes further than that. I have found that, the more I meditate, the less rewarding any other activity feels. I used to pretty steep dopamine rushes from porn or just snacking while watching YT, but now I'm like "meh, I'd rather just do zazen or kriya yoga". Even /x seems boring by comparison and I only force myself to come here in hope that someone will drop a golden turd. The only thing that I find more rewarding than meditation is sleep.
>>39225246they're attached to the world. sad, isn't it?https://www.bitchute.com/video/HwFFGtGh0FxR
>>39225246real buddism? Abandon everything you fucking snake. Lift your hand up for your entire life you fucking loser. Why don't you go fuck off into a buddist temple and live without the internet. They don't have wifi up there and eat the bare minimum. You don't need the fcking internet faker. Go abandon everything like Buddah said you fucking loser. And after a long life of absolutely nothing of importance and isolation, you will come back to the city to beg on the street for coin. Fuck you
>>39225246Don't have advice, but wanted to say I hope for the best for you, and others as well.
You say all the chatter is petty, like your dad talking about nothing but his money problems for example. It's not petty to him. He's trying to keep his family from living under the fucking overpass. He doesn't have the luxury of being able to think deep thoughts like you do, even if he wanted to. You have to understand, you're special, they are common. Virtually the entire world is common. There's no getting around it. It's not their fault, and it doesn't make them bad people. If you're going to be an intelligent man one day, a wise man, you're going to need to learn to be patient with fools and idiots. That's all there is in this world. Your job, is to help, them if you can, to be just a little less foolish and ignorant. And you're going to need to be patient for that.
>>39227195>The only thing that I find more rewarding than meditation is sleep.Pretty much the same thing aren't they? You're wasting your life anon. You'll be dead one day, and all you did was sleep your way through it. Meditation is bullshit, time you could have been doing something constructive wasted. That's all it is, unless you plan to achieve a certain level, or whatever you people call it, and go out and actually do something with whatever super power it gave you, if anything at all. Then I could see a point in it.
>>39227425Thank you anon.
Sadly yes. Exact same here. But I somewhat enjoy talking with my mother and my sister especially.
>>39225246I have the same problem, it's a common form of demonic possession called: "being a self centered asshole". The cure is to understand there's beauty in the most mundane things and that people are actual human beings that need, more than anything, care and attention. Your time is, most probably, not valuable enough to deny it to them.We can make it Anon.
Be humble enough to receive devine messages from within the yapping.
>>39225246You caring about the petty stuff people talk about is still petty. You are letting petty stuff get to you
>>39225246People are also so angry, they look for things to be angry about. And if you dare to say you are not angry, they get angry at you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j800SVeiS5I
