This actually ends up being good for humanity for the next century or so, as there is a lot of progress and automation that is then done unimpeded, and it helps humanity to adapt to said climate change and to move forward in terms of productivity, while keeping the public happy and educated. I don't have the exact specifics, but by 2160 China occupies several parts of the US alongside other countries, maybe to help aid the people living there as it's pretty rough. All I know for sure is that China occupies what is now NYC and a lot of people speak Chinese or whatever it turns into by then. Sorry if this sounds bad to you,, but the world really does end up a much better place, despite all the horrific things that happen in the 21st century.
