I used one about 2 decades ago. First with friends then alone in my room. I used it many times. I was addicted to it, it was both spooky and fascinating the answers that I got out of that board.

About a month later I started hearing things in my room. The sound of things falling to the floor only for me to look and find nothing on the floor. I heard the hangers in my closet falling down only to open the closet and find nothing on the floor. Eventually it got worse and I started seeing moving shadows on the corner of my eye. I would also feel something touching my back when I was alone.

I could not sleep for days because because of the noises and every time I would try to ignore it it would get worse. I would feel someone kick the bed at night jolting me awake. This lasted for many weeks and I felt I was going insane.

As I spent more time with little sleep my mind got more exhausted and it was making the shadows and noises more intense. I knew as long as I showed fear it would keep fucking with me. I made a decision to force myself to sleep no matter how many noises, touches, bed kicks, I suffered.


It was a long night. Like sleeping in a room with pranksters, the bed kicks, noises, dark faces in the shadows, etc. After that showdown night I awoke at 5am to the smell of flowers in my room. After that I never again experienced the noises, shadows, touches, etc.

Because of the nature of this method of divination, its users may become possessed by evil spirits, and dragged further into darkness
