Why would I want to escape samsara? I really like eating food, having sex, having a physical body. I'm really enjoying the "being an animal" experience. I'd do it again.
god same, i love browsing /x/ and listening to tunes, it's the greatest

>>39245469>NO! you have to hate life and view it as a shitty waiting room for the next world and you aren't allowed to enjoy anything!
>>39245454Humans are the one of the worst animals on this earth, I do not understand why anyone would want to be one.
>>39245480You are such a huge faggot.
>>39245454People don't hate the human experience, they hate THEIR human experience, that's why they inevitably end up going for another ride, they're as hooked as those who love their experience, except they're hooked on what they don't have.So no, most people don't wanna leave samsara, even if they say so.
>>39245485Did I hurt the feelings of a human? lol
>>39245504If we're not soapboxing about morality, Humans are objectively superior to all other animals on the planet. Where are the dog or bird philosophers? Where are their cities?
>>39245454Okay then, enjoy it. That's where you're at. For everyone else, there's MasterCard.
>>39245525>I am superior for not enjoying thingsBuddhist fart sniffer high on his own supply. Many such cases!
It's like this board has never heard of Zen Buddhism before. Be blissful no matter what's happening to you and you'll be fine.
>>39245454There is nothing wrong with here. It's the people in here that are the worst. We need a great cleansing of the people inside samsara.
>>39245454>I'm really enjoying the "being an animal" experience. I'd do it again.
>>39245531I didn't say anywhere else was better. I said if enjoying samsara is where OP is at, they should enjoy it. Surf the kali yuga. Whatever.
>>39245557What does it mean if I've just always been like that. I'm dumb as rocks and don't read books and only listen to music so I can't really say I was influenced by anything to be this way
>>39245480Nigga please, humans are top tier animal even without high intelligence. The ability to precisely throw stones and walk all the time you're not sleeping is op as fuck, no other animal can do it.
>>39245454Ok, but why not do that without inconveniences?
>>39245454>>39245454you will get old, sick, and die. It is unavoidable. Critiques of samsara are not that it is never pleasant, most of us find things we love about it all the time. It's that it's a permanent cycle with the potential for high highs and the certainty of low lows. What if there were a way to smooth that all out? Now, what it actually means to "escape" is up to your tradition. Maybe it's the snuffing out of a flame. Maybe it's entering a heaven. Maybe it's hanging from a branch jutting out from the side of a cliff, a deadly fall below and hungry tigers above. You eat a ripe berry on the branch, it is delicious. Also, if you want a more straightforward Buddhist answer, sometimes people are born in very nice material conditions. These conditions blind them to the fact that most of samsara is suffering. They will not pursue liberation in this life, but will exhaust good karma so that their next life reminds them what it means to suffer.
This is a place of pain, suffering & horror. If you're enjoying it, you have just, so far, been very fortunate or very sheltered. The pain, suffering & horror is on its way, in this life and the next.
Sorry if this is off topic, but I just wanted to ask if anyone here knows anything about traveling to other universes? Like if I had a specific one in mind and wanted to take someone with me? Thank you, and I hope for the best for those here and elsewhere.

>>39245454>I really like eating food, having sex, having a physical body. I'm really enjoying the "being an animal"animals dont lead this life, they dont enjoy sex. animals have sex 15 days per year tops
>>39245454Well that is why we're all here right now.
>>39245454Thats because u are a normlafaggot and i am God
>>39245454Just because your life is good now doesn't mean the countless other lives weren't lived in misery and brutality and/or ended prematurely through the inherent violence of nature. What do you think is the ratio of you being born a privileged human to your previous births as a newborn animal killed in the first seconds of your life by a predator, or even as a non-privileged human?Furthermore the more sins you accumulate in this life without recognising your opportunity for spiritual growth and knowing will doom you even more.
>>39247209Mammals seek sex when they're in heat or stressed out and derive joy from any activity that releases endorphins just like us. We're just more adept at seeking these endorphins due to our intelligence, we're able to turn things "Recreational" more easily.
>>39247114maybe pain, suffering and horror are scared animals out in the dark cold rain, only looking for shelter too, and welcoming them will make them nice.
>>39245454have you tryed heroin? it skips all the redundant steps of micro dosing various neurotransmitters and hits all the good ones with a hammer.
>>39247229is puberty in mammals innate or causal?
When you get reincarnated as a monkey in a chemical testing laboratory you may reconsider
>>39247460Both, it is programmed and caused. What are you trying to get at?
>>39245524>Where are the dog or bird philosophers? Where are their cities? Why are those superior things? All forms of life enjoyed in great times without them. ONly humans need this handicap; it's probably what makes us so pissed off all the time.Where are the animal suicide bombers and serial child rapists? What other animal came up with "it is proper to mutilate the penis of every male"?
>>39245471>you>have toyou made two mistakes

>>39245454It's best you shoot yourself up high so you can make decisions from a state of clarity and truth. If you have freedom then use it. Go up beyond the lower plane shit, find your true will, then act again. The reality is that you can escape while alive and experience more beings than just humans or lower spirits and that is a good thing for your social experience.
>>39247839>Where are the animal suicide bombers and serial child rapists?https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infanticide_in_carnivoreshttps://psycnet.apa.org/buy/2007-07332-001It's not hard to find information on nasty things mother nature does. What % of people commit suicide bombings? Selection bias or romanticising nature is kinda moot.
>>39248150Eating is not nearly the same as deliberately abusing and hurting. there is a purpose to carnivore infanticaide that is not found in the sadism of the human act.>It's not hard to find information on nasty things mother nature does.Humanity includes all of it, and adds sadism and the deliberate suffering of others without purpose on top.All you have done is show that humans have no reason to consider themselves in any way superior.
>>39246885I don't value those things. My past lives were mostly blissful being a cog within nature with no goals, hopes or desires other than survival and a minor goal of procreation. It felt great just being, just existing. That feeling of just existing is the main thing I seek in this life, and it is very elusive. (Probably helps that the only lives I remember were as an apex predator, lol)
>>39245454eventually you might suffer enough to want to stop

>>39245454Life doesn't matter anymore and it has become very obvious everywhere you go. You can feel it when you are out in public, no one gives a fuck about anything anymore. Even normies are blackpilled husks now.I go to work and basically just do nothing. I don't give a shit if they fire me, it literally doesn't matter at this point. I'm poor if I'm NEETing and poor if I work full time. This society is pointless. No community, no property, no families, no future. Where the fuck do we even go from here?

>>39247507your genes arnt a program, there a catalogue of progams that activate situationally, puberty in mammels is not innate, the lifecycle transition from growth to reproduction and death is a direct response to prepubescant cortisol parsed by the pituitary. reproduction is a stress response reprobate, the body dosnt trigger it when apoptosis is below a certain threshold.its why short men are the horniest and why real men have no more horns
>>39249679Just wanted to say I hope for the best for you anon, and others as well. I hope you and others find help you may seek.
>>39247202Not sure that's what I'm looking for, but thank you anyways. I hope for the best for you and others too! I hope you and others find help you may seek!
>>39245454Its good for some time and it has its place on the journey, but it's not a journey if you stay in the same place forever, is it? You're also assuming that these practiced aren't enjoyed anymore once you escape the cycle of Samsara - when actually it's the complete opposite and you know how to enjoy them correctly. By the way, you're so far off from understanding the meaning of Samsara let alone escaping the body. You say you would do it again because you're in the middle of your earthly experience - but that's because you don't know what lies on the horizon. Besides, what you're insinuating is the same as trying to be young again. We all have to grow up sometime.
>>39245454Also there's nothing wrong with what you choose to do in life, it's cool, but trying to dismiss what lies ahead, which you've not touched, is doing yourself and others a great disservice.
>>39245454Because just as human experience is Greater and more aware and appreciatively of goodness than lesser animals, so is angelic experience as children of God that we are called into by Jesus, surpassing all joy and state of human experience.
>>39245454To each their own. We don't have to be the same. The world likes diversity.
>>39245504Think he hurt the feelings of a faggot
>>39253780Strange because I don't believe anyone's feelings were hurt by that post, I let negativity directed towards me slide past. Although to bring enough of a strong emotional response to even elicit a reply like that from such a simple statement you'd think I'd have almost certainly struck a nerve.
