/x/, I need help, guidance, information. I do not know where else to turn. To preface, I am religious but not superstitious. I was brought up in a particularly niche ethnoreligious sect of Catholicism, but my family is heavily involved in freemasonry (multiple York templars, multiple 33rd degrees, 32 KKCHs, etc.) and have studied esoterica throughout my life. I am of sound mind, albeit with previous issues with anxiety and depression, which I worked tirelessly to address through therapy and am considered amongst my peers to be an exceptionally emotionally aware and stable individual (I was elected to multiple president positions in college for this reason). What I am here to ask you about are the anomalous quantity of coincidences that occur in my life. At first I was positive it was a psychological phenomenon; I would hear a word for the first time and subconsciously I would find it in the future, etc. About 4 years ago it became undeniable - from a frequency of once every couple days, to multiple times a day, I experience coincidences, synchronicities, whatever you want to call it, at a statistically impossible rate. Everyone close to me has independently observed this, recognizes it, and I have even lost a friend who was so freaked out by it and claimed I was possessed (a religiously superstitious individual). My problem is this - I am a scientific, logical, and pattern based thinker - but there is absolutely no fucking pattern that I can decipher in the frequency, themes, or severity of the coincidences I experience. As a way of "marking" them, per se, I have begun doing the sign of the cross every time I experience one.
The only pattern I have managed to pick up on is, they tend to relate to fleeting thoughts I have throughout my normal life. For instance, one day a friend and I met someone with a corrective dental headgear on, and I lightheartedly commented "you remind me of that girl from finding Nemo... what was her name?" and my friend replied "Oh, it was Darla!". Later that night, my friend and I did the Washington Post crossword and one of the first clues was "The name of the girl with braces in finding nemo". This caused my friend (who was non religious and went on to become an environmental scientist) to have a panic attack, not understanding how this could be possible. Another example that you all might find particularly interesting was when a friend of mine suggested we watch the show "Midnight Gospel", a humorous cartoon in which one of the characters has an appearance resembling Abraxas. I commented out loud, "wait that looks like Abraxas!" and pulled up an image on google to show my friend. Not even 1 hour later I went on 4chan, I can't remember which board but it wasn't /pol/, and there was a post with no comment, just the exact image of Abraxas I'd shown my friend and the subject "Abraxas" (for the avoidance of doubt, the friend I was with has never used 4chan and does not know I use it. My question to you all is the following. Why does this happen to me? I am beyond any reasonable doubt that there is an anomalous frequency of these occurrences pertaining to me in particular, and I am confident that it is impossible that this is a purely psychological phenomenon. What can I read to learn more about this? What should I do?

You wrote a wall of text in a desperate attempt to describe yourself in terms others would find admirable, instead of simply asking "How can I cope with an overwhelming amount of synchronicities?"
