The books you posted “Kundalini - Psychosis or Transcendence” by Lee Sannella, M.D. was mentioned in the army document we all know of: Analysis and Assessment of Gateway Process. Check the army document and see for yourself. I have another copy of the op, just a different title but it’s the exact same book (pic related). There’s is another version of this in Qigong practice, called dragon sickness.
Just don’t over stimulate the prana / chi. Take it easy, keep up with your meditation, don’t fixate.

It’s an active, living thing. There’s no doctrine or dogma. People could only express their relationship with it and what they extrapolated.
Kundalini is known as the feminine force, so perhaps aim your focus towards understanding the ‘right’ about how women act, and you may begin to form that relationship.
>>
dogma and self imposed constraints always seem to corrupt. How does a man who is living solitary life to understand this thing relating to living woman? What understanding you feel can be shared with an anon who is receptive?

It's generally a bad idea if you know what these things mean.
Awakening Kundalini all at once is like going from level 0 to level 99.
It's not fun, it's painful.
It will tear your life apart, and that's if you even survive.
You will likely be left catatonically schizophrenic.

Regarding that. I apologize for sounding disrespectful but these beliefs seem to be bullshit caused by first affirming religious beliefs and then trying to weld them onto the experience.

>>39256438
I'd recommend approaching it from more practical esoteric standpoint. For example, traditional chinese medicine in context of qigong, neidan etc explains quite well both issues and possibly the way kundalini practices and their effects function by drawing certain parallels. It really seems like stimulation of particular energy centers but with strong concentration on them along, to neglect of surrounding and supporting rest of the "network". That in turn causes glitches and short-circuiting, the scary experiences you were told about.
I can also report that while I did get some mild beginnings of some of those experiences when stimulating similar areas albeit not as kundalini practitioner but as per other "energy art" practices, I also was able to mitigate and stop any further progression of those issues through the same practices qigong practitioners would use for imbalances and deviations, without having to worry or think of such as expressions of some goddess.

Are you prepared to live with schizophrenia?
>>
a few years ago I came to this thread after taking acid and having a partial kundalini awakening that stopped in my chest - it caused a multi year long bout of psychosis that I literally just came out of a few weeks ago
extreme OCD and constant heart palpitations that has almost completely disappeared now

Schizophrenia has many cures. Let's say awakening kundalini actually causes schizophrenia, I just take niacin and the voices are all gone, I'm only left with the good side of it. Actually, what is the good side of it? What does one gain from it?

>Actually, what is the good side of it? What does one gain from it?
Of/from schizophrenia? Absolutely nothing, beside some experiences
Of kundalini awakening? Also some experiences, of spiritual nature, a bit of inisght into oneself, more energy and will, for mundane and occult undertakings.

Still, >>39262239 mentions important points. The whole psychosis etc is because people go for kundalini when they're not prepared for it.

Think of it like of a body and mind of a person being complex, relatively sturdy electronic device (dunno, smartphone or whatever), with various subsystems, paths for electricity to travel in it to power those subsystems etc. You can increase effectiveness of the device by improving a bit of design, working to make the subsystems more effective, the parts higher quality and the software/operating system more able to handle the new hardware. That upgraded device operates better then.

Kundalini awakening is often practitioner ignoring all those important, gradual upgrades, deciding he just wants more power and so just ghetto rigging it by welding a wire from power supply directly to the processor and then connecting the whole device to the power outlet with only enough care to not trip the circuit breaker and with complete disregard for other parts of the device.

Of course it glitches. The device's, as mentioned, rather sturdy so it doesn't just completely melts/burns out, but shortcircuiting, parts and OS going haywire or getting lasting damage is to be expected.

Nowadays you have three major choices when it comes to the occult: abracuckery (Qaballah, Sufism etc), eastern stuff (pajeets + Tibet + China + Japan) and New Age (more often than not a mish-mash of the two aforementioned, sometimes practical approach based on psychology, empirical experience and fringe sciences). Oh you also have Western polytheism and Wicca, but that's hardly a good standalone choice for an aspiring occultist because 1) too much religion and superstition obscures occult nuances; 2) it was largely destroyed and distorted by abracucks during the last two millenia.
New Age is best for people who possess more that one brain cell, which allows them to tell gems apart from bullshit. Eastern stuff is for those who wish to tear down chains of religion (usually kikestianity) that bind them, but cannot into freestyle practice yet. Esoteric abracuckery is for those who aren't yet ready even for that step.

I experienced an "assisted" Kundalini awakening which is called shaktipat. It was more like it was gifted to me during a panic attack. I switched on a dime- I went from paranoia and panic to a state of pure bliss and understanding as a golden light filled my head. It changed my life. I had no idea what I went through until I described the experience on here and a nice anon informed me of kundalini. I then read the OP image book and it helped immensely- it basically just put into words what I couldn't grasp. I picked up pic rel recently and am half way through. It's a good read, recommended. What should I read next, anons?

if you are more accustomed to European/Western culture than one of the Eastern ones, you could try reading "The Psychology of Kundalini Yoga" by Carl Jung
it was published both separately, and in the collected works

>New Age is best for people who possess more that one brain cell
Strongly disagreed. The movement and traditions stemming from it tend to be the most diluted mish-mash of bullshit with the least practical and functional knowledge behind it. Anything that works here is something lifted from elsewhere and ground into pale shadow of its former self so it can fit naive, unworkable expectations of the person writing about it. Ultimately, it tends to be the worst waste of time and least effective way to invest it for an average practitioner.

Don't mix all modern advancements and traditions with it either. Even practitioners of those tend to steer away from New Age which is now domain of crystal-healing teenage weekend witches.

Wicca is also kinda meh for practitioner mostly because it's fundamentally build on a lie. Witchcraft practices associated with it may have some value, but Wicca itself is a relatively modern invention lifting some bits from said withcraft and pagan traditions and repackaging it for sale and to build some cults, most of its value again being something you need to dig deeper for.

>I didn't know he wrote about kundalini, though
he wrote two books on alchemy (in 1944 & 1956) so he moved on relatively quickly

from what I recall one of the points made in the 1932 conference was that in India it was necessary for man to start from the lowest chakra and attain towards the highest... but in the West we already live in a world that favors top-chakra interests and activities (or at least it did in the Twentieth Century and the centuries before it..), so the situation is somewhat reversed when comparing it to the milieu where Kundalini Yoga was developed and employed... we have other problems which call for other solutions

long story short: we in the West can leave the snek sleeping; but if you are already on /x/, maybe check out pic related, it will be more useful in the long run (Edinger's "Anatomy of the Psyche" is also excellent)... and of course the Bible is full of nuggets of gold
>>
Serpent Rising: The Kundalini Compendium and Kundalini Exposed are the only two books you really need to get started forget the rest. God bless.

>it was necessary for man to start from the lowest chakra and attain towards the highest... but in the West we already live in a world that favors top-chakra interests and activities
Interesting... in Living with Kundalini, Gopi Krishna said he had his accidental kundalini awakening while meditating with intense focus on the top of his head, imagining a glowing lotus flower brightening with intensity (or something like that, it's much more eloquent in the book). When I meditate, though, I start by focusing on my toes, feet, legs and all the way up, imagining every muscle and ligament lighting up with energy. It feels amazing and I can sense the energy as it hits my spine and the top of my head, even hearing little pops and crackles wherever I focus my attention.
>Edinger's "Anatomy of the Psyche"
I'll be sure to look into this and your pic rel, though I'm not much into alchemy (unless it's spiritual "alchemy" as in tramutation of the soul).
>Bible is full of nuggets of gold
Absolutely, especially revelations and the NT. If you think the Bible is good, you need to read the Gospel of Thomas and other works from the Nag Hammadi. Gospel of Thomas especially is absolutely seminal and has a lot of truth and wisdom.

I had kundalini psychosis, it was really shitty. I still have tinnitus and headaches. My suspicion is that its actually an overactive biophysical field. Just electricity flowing through the brain, heart (which has its own small brain), and CNS.
>>
>>39267996
Wicca is just repackaged OTO ceremonial magick mixed with psuedo-celtic beliefs.
>>
>>39268515
>The Manichaeans also wrote a Gospel according to Thomas, which being tinctured with the fragrance of the evangelic title corrupts the souls of the simple sort.
I don't know man, a lot of sneaky people in that part of the world
>During the reign of Shapur, Manichaeism, a new religion founded by the Iranian prophet Mani, flourished. Mani was treated well by Shapur, and in 242, the prophet joined the Sasanian court, where he tried to convert Shapur by dedicating his only work written in Middle Persian, known as the Shabuhragan. Shapur, however, did not convert to Manichaeism and remained a Zoroastrian.

Looks like the guy i used to follow in ig seems to have disappeared. I found another video here:
https://www.thedaobums.com/topic/50397-dragon-sickness/
but it seems like their videos have also been deleted. Another version of "dragon sickness" is also called "Zouhuorumo". If you also look into the strange story of Kyle Odom. He was practicing an unnamed form of "meditation" which then turned into a disaster.
>>
>>39271136
quite strange that in so much time studying spirituality nobody made observation that unified kundalini and neidan (taoist alchemy)
all I could find was this diagram for ants and even so it writes "tibetan yoga" for neidan

>but it seems like their videos have also been deleted. Another version of "dragon sickness" is also called "Zouhuorumo"
the wikipedia article on that recommends "grounding" for things arising from meditation (like martial arts or qigong)
I've have also seen "grounding" recommended in the case of kundalini psychosis, although the latter (and Zazen, I presume) present less risk as no movement is involved
and of course Benedictine monks recommended "Ora et Labora" meaning "Pray and Work" which is points in the same direction (work = physical work)

anyway, hopefully somebody has archived the videos
